There was no paperwork to complete when you first come in which is good because you don't have to stop to fill that out but could be bad because the massage therapist is not getting to know anything about you or your needs- problem areas, areas you don't want touched, medical conditions, etc. I was in the first room and I wish they had a single curtain there because when my massage first started I could see out into the hall through the break in the curtain which means that if anyone crossed past that way they could see me undressed. My massage started off rocky. She was doing a lot of jerky motions and the entire massage felt rushed rather than slow, relaxing and intentional. I told her that I wanted her to focus on shoulders and neck and that equated to a lot of rolling with her hands and oil in that area rather than slow intentional attention on that area working out the kinks. Toward the middle of my 90 minute massage she kinda settled in and I was able to relax. Overall, it was nice but it was far from the best massage I have had and a majority of the massages I have had were at a massage school in my hometown. Would I go again? Yes, I would. My massage therapist didn't speak English so was very difficult to communicate with her about my injured Rt shoulder. No one else who spoke English seemed to be around either. Couldn't get my point across even with sign language. I guess she thought I was saying focus her massage on my Rt shoulder & I h ad to physically stop her when she proceeded to do that. I've had better massages on a beach in Mexico where language didn't seem to be a problem. As a female I am very sensitive in my groin area & she got waaaay too close to my genitalia for my comfort. Two women greeted me when I walked in and we're very nice. The interior is pretty minimal and clean. Communication was a little hard due to the language barrier but the service was very friendly regardless. Not a lot of frills but you can tell they are experienced masseuses. I got the 45min full body massage and 30min reflexology for $75. The masseuse used every second of the allotted time and it felt like a high quality massage with someone who is very knowledgeable. The staff, after speaking with some of them, were born in China and were accountants before moving to the States over +20 years ago. They said they enjoy working with their hands is why they changed careers. Paid for 1 hour massage but only got 50 minutes. In general, I liked this place. However, the last massage I had started late at 4:10 PM and the lady stopped my massage at 5 pm. When I tried to tell her that I did not get the full time of my massage, she pretended to not understand me even though I was using Google translate app to communicate. She tried to explain to me that the room was "booked" for 4 PM and she ended at 5 PM which is an hour. I explained that wasn't fair because she started late on my massage and ended early, which was not 60 minutes. My suggestion is that if the masseuse starts late, be sure and ask if the massage will go extra time to make up for the full 60 minutes...before the massage.
