Only a couple of weeks ago I bought new Honda CRV- Touring 2026 hybrid from this dealership. At the time of purchase I was told that by installing Honda Locate device from the company will get me huge discount from my insurance company. I told them sir I am a senior citizen and not very tech savvy and I do believe their words. After purchase when I approached my insurance company I was told that they don't approve Honda's Locate device so I rushed back to my sales person and finance manager to look into this matter but they even refused to recognize me. All this falls under misleading and false representation under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act. I am a senior citizen without any recurring income. I told them to compensate me for my loss due to their false claims. They charged me $1000 to install this device. I spent another $452 to get TAG installed in my vehicle for getting discount from insurance company. I once again request the Management to intervene and arrange to refund me this amount and compensate me $452 incurred for another device TAG. The concerned persons (sales person and Finance Manager) are not responding to my calls which is giving a bad name to the company. I will reveal the names also if someone approaches me to resolve my complaint. And if my complaint is not resolved at this level I will go further with my case read more

I have been a regular customer for service since I bought my vehicle from them in 2017. However, my last visit/experience was a complete disappointment dealing with the advisor Pritpal aka Paul. All I needed was to swap the tires. He called me for recommendations as usual but this time it was outrageous! He informed me that my brakes needs to be replaced, especially the front because it is squeaking and it is metal to metal. He quoted more than $800 for the replacement of the front brakes only. I told him to put that on the paper and I will take it to my mechanic (who can get it done all 4 pads and rotors for a bit more). After the service, I went to my mechanic to have them changed and he took the liberty to remove the tires and show me that there more to go on the pads before needing to be changed. I felt betrayed by the dealership. Sure, I understand that they want to make money but by cheating? I drove straight to the dealership and spoke to 'Paul'. He told me that he had sent me an image of the brake pad, which he has not. After exchange of words, he had called the technician who worked on my vehicle. The technician told me that since I have not done brake maintenance, the pad had worn off unevenly. At that point, I asked him if he remembered which side it was from and then he told me that it was the rare. Then the advisor and the technician started 'arguing' as to who said what and how it was conveyed. I am so done with these people!!! read more

If there's one thing that my ex and classic Honda have in common, it's that they both gave me trust issues. Jokes aside, I've been coming here for regular service on my 2016 Civic. There was this instance during the first visit where they didn't call me and I had to wait a bit before having to go up there myself and ask where my car is. So just to explain everything, this is how I've seen the dealership work. You book an appointment online, and there's a few options you can do. There's a valet service where they pick up your car and drop it off once it's done. I've done this before and would recommend. Only downside is that your car will be gone for the whole day. Second, is to drop off your car and they will give you a ride home. Third is that you just wait in the lobby. They text you once your car is checked in and they give link where you can see updates on your car. Once it's done, I've seen the rep come and find you to let you know your service is done or they text you. This was the case last time I went. So last visit... This is the reason why I won't be coming back. I came for brake servicing today at 12:45pm. I made an appointment. The lady takes me through the usual process and done! They have a lounge with wifi so of course I brought my computer to get some work done. After 5 hours, it still was not completed. Bear in mind that I am constantly checking the link they text you to see any updates. And it's been on the same thing: checked in. No worries, I see the lady that checked me in come by and let people know their car is done. I see multiple employees do this. So I just assumed *facepalm*. After 5 hours, I'm hungry so I ask how long it's gonna take. Turns out the lady that checked me in left for the day! And my keys have been there since around 3:30-4pm. So I was waiting again for no reason. At this point, I don't trust that they'll actually remember me since this is the second time it's happened. So I think it's worth driving an extra 5 minutes to the other Honda dealership just to try a different experience. read more

I booked my honda 2022 accord on may 18th 2022 with a waiting period of 3 to 4 months. Since it has been 3 and a half month already, I contacted the dealership to know the delivery date and the whereabouts of my car and was asked to come in. I went in and met my salesperson Gurpreet Manocha. He said " ha ha ha, there is bad news!" That honda has stopped the production of 2022 accord. How come it stopped about 15 days before I was supposed to get it. As per my understanding, a car can not be manufactured, tested and delivered all in 15 days. The only options Gurpreet provided me was to go for CRV or to book for 2023 accord with higher interest rate of what I was promised for my previous car which increases my payment per month by $90 and wait for 5 more months. I bought used car from Classic Honda and continuously spending significant money to keep this car run. I have already replaces battery, brakes, routers and starter and still its back view camera and remote starter are not working. This car is maintained by Honda Dealer and all oil changes are done by the dealer on time. I noticed few weeks ago that its engine also burns oil. They sold the car to me knowing that the car is burning oil. When I talked to the dealer, their response was not polite. FIRST OF ALL, THE WORST RIP OFF HONDA DEALER SHIP I HAVE BEEN TO BUY A NEW CAR. 1. I had bought a brand-new Honda Civic 2019 from classic Honda Brampton on 10th May. From day one the car had some issues with the brakes and the air conditioner. I started hearing strange noises when I put the brakes on and when I turned on the Air conditioner, which is strange since I had bought a brand-new car. I called in to make an appointment for the car and got a date for 21st May for 10:15am. 2. On the day of the appointment after waited for about 2 hours I was told the noise from the brakes has been fixed and it was due to a stone stuck inside however the AC could not be fixed since their equipment were not working. I was told to come back again the next day 22nd May like i have all the time in the world. 3. When I went the next day 22nd May to I was told to drop off the car and was given a rental car. On 23rd May I called Classic Honda to check if the car was ready for pickup, but I was told to come in around 1pm as the car was ready for pickup. I was on my way to collect the car after dropping the rented car back when I received a call saying my car was not ready to be received and that the service team could not figure out what the problem was in the car. 4. On the 24th I went to Honda classic to speak to someone about this issue I was directed towards the sales manager by the name of Tan Tran. He seemed to be least interested was was very rude and just brushed me off saying that most new cars have technical faults like this. Without even hearing me out he directed me towards the service manager and took off. After about 2 days. I have received my car back, please remember this is a brand-new car the service manager told me that car didn't have enough Freon gas charged therefore the AC has been making noise. I asked the receptionist to let me speak to the General Manger, but she was very rude and made up excuses that he doesn't just meet any one without appointments, so I asked if she could book me an appointment, on which she told me that we can't book an appointment. WHAT THE HELL!!! she hesitantly took down my name and number on a piece of paper and told me that she would give it to the manager and that he would give me a call, I still haven't received any call. The worst kind of customer service I have experienced ever, after going in and out of the dealership to get a NEW CAR FIXED AND BEING TREATED LIKE SHIT!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also, the used car stock is also quite plentiful, and while it's primarily other Hondas, there are other brands to choose from if you so desire. Seriously, is there anything more ball-achingly aggravating than buying a new car? Yes there is: Having to SUDDENLY buy a new car. Those familiar with my adventures are aware of my recent attempt of intimacy with a streetlight, via wrapping my car around it, after a cut-off gone awry. Let me tell you, this has been a trying experience. I hate dealing with insurance companies as it is, but dealing with a written-off car, the complications of the cutter-offer screwing off, agents having their phones go straight to voicemail*, worrying about getting a new car, and on top of that, rocking 2 fractured ribs...sucks. My written-off car was a 2008 Honda Civic, from Classic Honda. After a painful parting of the ways with Nissan, my last experience with Honda was mostly annoyance stemming from Nissan, so I didn't have much to say then, though I've been happy with their service since getting the original car. With everything else going on, I actually prayed repeatedly before going back to Honda that things would go smoothly. Would my bearded cloud homeboys come through for me, or would I be paddle-less up the creek o' shit? EXCELLENT experience! The man handling things for me, Martin, is an incredibly nice guy, and was very sympathetic to my situation. Never once did I feel like there'd be some kind of hiccup to annoy me, and the process was very quick and painless. In fact, even when the insurance company decided to be a bunch of dicktit shitbeans* and start holding up the works, Martin and Honda Financial Forces went to work and did as much of the legwork as they could, so I wouldn't be stuck on the phone all the time. They even made a point of letting me know that the insurance company* lowballed the hell out of the settlement, and Honda told them to stuff it and come back when they're serious. The major obstacle I experienced was in the form of a rental car. As of this writing, I'm on a 2-week wait for my new car, though the rental authorized by the insurance company was only paid for until yesterday. After numerous calls for an extension, I couldn't reach anybody, nor were voicemails returned*. Honda jumped into action at this as well, and provided me with a rental of their own for the 2 weeks. I know this has kind of become a dual review, but I really can't sing Classic Honda's praises enough. Even though the car isn't in my possession yet, I'm confident that everything will go incredibly smooth. I'm finally a very happy car customer. * - Ohhhh, I can't wait to leave this insurance company, and proceed to write the mother of all scathing reviews. I smell my first 1-star review! TIP: Other than the OMVIC and licensing fee, there aren't any dealership feels here! Review is for the salesperson I dealt with, Gary Singh. (I promised that I'd write a review for him!) I cannot speak for the other sales people, servicing, or support staff as I had zero/very little interaction with them during my purchasing process. First of all, this dealership is HUGE. It covers about a block in length and Gary was proud to state that it was either the largest Honda OR car dealership in Canada! It's extremely high volume, so interpret that info whatever way you want! It's not the fanciest dealership, but there is free wifi/coffee, seated waiting area with a tv, washrooms, etc. Whatever you'd expect from a busy place like this. On the 2 occasions that I dealt with Gary, he was prompt, soft-spoken, & trustworthy. Basically everything that you DO NOT expect in a car salesman, especially a used one! He makes things happen, wants to sell you a car if you want one, and doesn't play games or hardball. On the other hand, I must mention that the Financing Manager, or whatever his title is of the person who's supposed to sell extra coverage and have you sign all the paperwork, was unnecessary curt and I felt as though my presence was getting in the way of his long weekend. Sure, we already agreed to purchase the car, but he was just going through the motions with absolutely zero pleasantries. A vast contrast from my experience with the sales person. Through my observation, I think every customer's experience will really depend on WHO you get as a salesperson. I think I lucked out in finding Mr. Singh. Most amazing experience ! I purchased a brand new 2020 Honda Civic back on April 30th, 2021 and received the most amazing service from Rehan! I needed a reliable vehicle in very short notice, and within a matter of 3 days, Rehan had be driving off the lot in my gorgeous brand new vehicle. Above and beyond service! I took my vehicle to this dealership for a tire rotation. After the apt, it was driving worse as time went on. I called Service to ask for apt ASAP as I knew something was seriously wrong. The Service Advisor said they didn't have any apts available until 4 days after I called. I was desperate and went to my co-workers mechanic, who agreed to see me that day. He called me to the back of his shop and showed me that the bolts were not tightened by the Honda mechanic. My co workers mechanic did several turns of the bolts on one tire by hand, showing me how lose they were. If you go in during tire season, please check your tires so you don't have an issue. read more

I bought 5 cars through these folks and always had great experiences. Finance people work to get you the best deal, sales people are knowledgeable and provide options and answer questions. Service folks are honest and never pressured me into unnecessary work and have always given me plenty of advance warning when brakes or tires are getting worn. One particular case comes to mind when I went there with your typical customer complaint...the front end of my Odyssey feels loose and there is a bit of a clunky sound. 5 hours later I have the van back in my hands and the guts of the front end swapped out under warranty. It's not all perfect, I had an occasion where I showed up for scheduled warranty work but the parts weren't there and I had to come back another time but that's honestly the worst thing I can say. read more

Later, He went aggressive and persisted me to go to buy it. However, i did not make the decision (luckily) and i told him my intention to browse around with other dealers as his location was my first ever. Eventually liked a deal from some other dealer. I did not see a point in hiding and to save his effort in me, i told that i liked the deal from some other dealer. Contacted Classic Honda in Brampton after reviewing a special on Autotrader. Very nice Honda Accord Coupe. First of all... the dealership and selection is HUGE!! If you are looking for a good selection on used cars, this is the place to head. I made arrangements with a great guy named Tejinder Mavi (highly recommended). Took it for a test drive, did some quick paperwork and boom... I was out of there. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly, they followed through on their word, very good professionalism. Now for the real good news story for Classic Honda... I was so impressed with their selection and how I was treated. I headed back two weeks later and bought ANOTHER CAR for my wife. She was looking for a CRV. We spent a good amount of time in the parking lot just looking at CRVs.... again, MASSIVE selection. Tejinder was patient and discussed all the pros and cons of the different models and ages and accessories with her. My wife can be very very picky and indecisive... but Tajinder stuck with her and made sure she was happy. There was no pushiness. And she LOVES her new car... like really loves it. At this point... if I am buying a Honda, I am driving to Classic Honda in Brampton. And I don't even live in Brampton. There are numerous other Honda dealerships closer. Classic Honda 30 Van Kirk Dr Brampton, ON L7A 2Y4 has the worst maintenance service team. I brought my van for an A1 service which I scheduled online at 8 am. Service adviser 2216 JASPREET MATHARU said it will be done "at the most" at 12 noon or even earlier. I even asked to be picked up from my house as I do not have a ride to get back to the dealership. Quarter before 2 pm I decided to WALK over to the dealership and finally got my van back. I was TOLD that everyone in the backroom are really lazy so now I am having doubts if they actually worked on my van. Consider yourself warned. You can buy from them but I doubt if you can rely on their promises. If you do not have a choice then at least avoid dealing with Service adviser 2216 JASPREET MATHARU as he cannot be trusted. read more

After 2 weeks of George the sales person and Joe pushing me to buy a car I did not want, to finance for 84 months ( having just recovered from cancer I did not feel comfortable with this long of a term) I told them I did not want this car. I was called and told to come in and "take the car and trade after 7 months"', when I refused I was told" come in and sign within 3hours or we will consider your car voluntarily repossessed and ruin your credit". I finally got fed up and called Joe to work this out amicably, to my horror he told me, " you need help, you are sick. Go see a doctor you are pyscho" So I called and spoke to Simon, he apologized, I paid out the lease and bought a Mazda ! I went in to Classic Honda to have a key cut and programmed for my Odyssey. Long story short, I was charged approx. $190. I gagged at the quote but I needed the key and was in a rush. As I was driving home, I thought about the fact that I had the same service done about a year and a half ago at Ideal Honda in Mississauga and didn't remember paying so much. I got home, found my old invoice, and saw that I was only charged $90 for the exact same thing from Ideal Honda. As I browsed the invoice, I could see that the main difference was in the time charged. Classic Honda charged for an hour (it didn't take that long) whereas Ideal Honda charged me for 0.5 hours. I drove back to Classic Honda with both invoices. The service rep who I had dealt with (Daniel, who was actually very nice) had left for lunch so I took my inquiry to another one of the service reps. I showed him both invoices and asked him to explain what could possibly justify this price difference for the exact same service. Rep: Uh, it looks like they didn't charge you for the actual key. Me: Yes, they did. It's right here on the invoice. Rep: Uh, well that quote is almost two years old. Me: Actually, the rate is the same. If you look at the invoice, the difference is in the time that's being billed. Rep: Uh, well I don't know what to tell you. Seems like Ideal Honda bills in half-hour increments. We do 1 hour minimum. Me: So, what you're telling me is that next time I need parts or service done... I should just go to Ideal Honda? Rep: No, that's not what I'm saying... Well, clearly it is.... If you walk into Classic Honda and get a used salesman by the name of Nick Grewal, RUN! He is absolutely the worst! Nick is a blemish to Classic Honda and to the Honda brand itself. Let me tell you the story. I recently purchased a used mini-van from Classic Honda in Brampton. My sales rep was Nick Grewal. He looked like a nice enough guy but ended up being absolutely the worse salesman I have ever seen. He was completely incompetent. It was Saturday. I went to the dealership. I found the van that I wanted to buy. We agreed upon the price and the down payment. I told Nick to make sure the paperwork and registration is in my wife's name. Nick says he understands and will make that happen. I then go see the finance manager (Ali) and after turning down all of the additional services, we agree that it is best if I get new plates for the van. Everyone is happy and we sign the paperwork. I make an appointment to pick the van up the following Wed. Nick calls me on the Tuesday morning and tells me that there was a recall on the van and they needed a special part to fix it. I asked Nick why he didn't tell me about the recall when I was buying the van. Nick said he didn't know anything about the recall. Fair enough. I checked on Google and found out that the recall was eight months ago! Maybe it was my fault for not doing my homework first. Buyer beware. Nick tells me they will have the part in later that day and I should have the van on Thursday. I'm OK with that. These things happen. I text and message with Nick that I need the van by 5pm on Thursday. Nick assures me that the van will be ready by 5pm Thursday. Nick said that he will personally check to make sure everything is OK. I show up at the dealership at 5pm sharp on Thursday. I greet Nick. We sit down to sign the final paperwork. He tells me that he has the tools to switch my license plate to the new van. I ask him what was he talking about? I showed him on the paperwork where it says we will get NEW license plates. Nick is dumbfounded. I then look at the new registration and it is under my name. I told Nick that I specifically said that the paperwork should be in my wife's name. Nick then proceeds to blame the admin people for the mistake. I'm floored. He's the salesman and he doesn't take responsibility for his own job. I agree to go with Nick to the Department of Transportation and get the paperwork changed. We get the paperwork changed and I ask him to put the floor mats in the van and set it up. Nick then tells me that the floor mats don't belong to the van. He said he doesn't know what happened. At this point I am fuming. I tell Nick that I want the floor mats delivered to my house. Nick tells me he understands and that he will get them to my house by Saturday. I told him as long as it gets there by Monday I would be OK. Nick says he will make sure it happens. Two days go by. It is now Saturday. I text and Message with Nick multiple times and he assures me that the floor mats have been sent and they will be at my house by Monday. Tuesday the latest. Monday goes by - nothing! Tuesday goes by - nothing. I call Ali, the sales/finance manager at Classic Honda and tell him my frustrations to date. Ali says he will look into it. It turns out, they hadn't even shipped my floor mats out yet. Ali said he would have it fixed and send it out immediately. The floor mats do arrive the next day. If Ali can do something as simple as sending out floor mats, why couldn't Nick do that? And why would he make assurances that they have been shipped and at my house when no one had actually sent them? The only conclusion I could come up with was that Nick either lacked integrity or was completely incompetent. I've come to the conclusion that Nick Grewal was definitely incompetent as well as lacking in integrity. Nick gives used car salesman a bad name. I'm flabbergasted that a reputable company like Classic Honda would actually employ such a person. The epilogue to this is that Ali sent me the wrong floor mats. They weren't for the Honda Odyssey. I had to go to another Honda dealership to get floor mats. To Ali's credit, they did reimburse me for the purchased floor mats. Overall, a completely horrible customer experience. read more

Bought my new 2013 Honda Civic here and it was such a great experience! Paul was my sales guy, honestly the nicest sweetest guy ever! I went to a few dealerships and I didn't make my purchase only because I loved the car but I felt very taken care of and not like I was being scammed. Another thing I liked was that Paul assured me that the vehicle would not leave the property if it had any issues that needed to be fixed, while when I looked at a car at Mazda they basically sat there telling me ok once you buy this car you'll have to fix this and that (and this was on a 2015 Mazda!) so the fact alone that they were just going to sell me a car just 2 years old with all these issues that were going to be basically my problem to deal with made me feel uncomfortable and also unsafe. I am very happy and proud to now be part of the Honda family and the customer service was over the top - I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a vehicle new or used! read more
