Great place, my son loved attending their classes. I wish they were still in Jacksonville.

We chose to continue classes with cedar point gymnastics despite all but 1 coach leaving this gym,…read moreand all the teams followed. Against my better judgment I thought it would be a good idea to give them a chance to kind of pull themselves together (they lost almost everybody almost overnight about a month ago) In January we had an unusual amount of snow and ice. As a result our child, and many others, ended up with one class...despite having paid for a month of classes. As with another parent, we are given the opportunity to make up the classes but be warned that there is no guarantee. Even though there is make up gym it's only once a month. Last week one of the coaches took their dog in and allowed it to run around in the gym. I'm sure the dog is cute but it has no place on the gym floor! Today I show up and what are the kids doing? They were playing hide and seek with ZERO ADULT INTERACTION. This is an hour and a half class. The first 15 minutes were spent stretching and warming up with zero adult interaction. When I showed up another parent let me know they had been playing hide and seek for a little over 15minutes. The gym was cleaned up and the "adults" there were ready to go. I called for my child from the observation deck and not a single one of the adults (I saw 3 on the floor talking and messing around with each other) said a thing to me. For a parents night out, which is organized by free gym time, it is great. The kids have a blast. But, when I am paying for a class that is exactly what I expect. I can not NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I cannot recommend Cedar Point Gymnastics. We stuck with the gym for approximately three years as…read moreit was conveniently located. The continued lack of organization and communication took its toll. The owners lack of professionalism and commitment to the gym and gymnasts was evident in our last parent meeting. In addition, there were constant billing issues with monthly tuition, competition fees, etc. All were were paid in a timely manor, however, I had to maintain receipts for each and every transaction as I would be charged twice or have to show receipts to prove I had paid for pre-ordered team items. I would advise against joining this particular gym.

The Little Gym had been recommended to us, so we tried an intro class. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a few friendly people. My partner and I looked at the gym space and wanted to play on it ourselves - it looked so fun! The class itself was well-structured without being overly scheduled. There were a series of activities along with some free play and some offered "spotting" from the instructor. The instructor had such positive, encouraging energy. We tried things with our little guy that we wouldn't have thought of before, like a supported front flip and back flip. He got to play with bubbles and play on some equipment that he really enjoyed. I really, really appreciated after class that we were walked through the membership program BUT not pushed with a hard sell. At this point we've decided that the cost is higher than we're willing to do for now. We don't anticipate raising an olympic gymnast, so the idea of spending over $1,200 a year on classes for our baby is more than we want to do when he's so little. But once he gets a little older, I think a membership is in our future.
