Been meaning to write this review for awhile…read more This place is awful. We signed our seven year old up for ukulele lessons and he was so excited! We got a teacher that honestly just sucked. We had signed up and prepaid for thirty minute lessons once a week. Not only was he flakey, but when he didn't postpone our lessons, he was mostly late to them. He didn't make up the time at the end of the lesson, but often also cut the lesson short. If it wasn't one or the other, it was both. He also consistently came unprepared. Spent a large portion of the lesson printing out sheet music. Why hadn't he done that previously? I couldn't tell you. Then he would chat with our son asking HIM to choose the music. Our son just wanted to learn, he didn't care what they played. And even when he did select something, the teacher would then spend the remainder of their time attempting to search for and transcribe the music. We attempted to reach out to the owner several times. Our names and number were taken each time, usually without a call back. When we did get calls back, it was from the manager or from a woman who could have also been a manager, both of whom were very rude. When I finally spoke to the owner, he seemed to want to be proactive about it. Offered to compensate us for several lessons that we either never received or that were only given partially due to tardiness or incompetence. He also switched us to a different teacher. Apparently we weren't the only ones with complaints about the other guy, so they fired him. The new teacher, Alex, is probably the only person who provided a positive experience for us at this place. I wish he'd just do lessons on his own as we would never recommend anyone go through this place. In the end, we never saw a penny of a refund. No lessons up ended up being credited as promised. And worst of all, they tried to claim we owed them money. For what, you ask? Lessons that were never given while they claimed to be "working all of this out". If I could give this place zero stars, I would. You're better off learning an instrument from your family friend or your dad with mediocre guitar skills from his high school garage band days than you would be at this place.

Unlike Chico Women's Club, the Grange has a very large kitchen and much nicer, modern ADA bathrooms. Also, unlike Chico Women's Club, there is a separate dining room and auditorium, divided by a large central hallway to give you more options for setups. In adidition to the Grange parking lot, there is plenty of onstreet parking available. I've run into difficulty finding parking at the Chico Women's club once the little parking lot is filled, as it is surrounded by downtown homes and college rentals. CV

My boyfriend and I shared the Mediterranean scramble with spinach. It was sooo good! Hash browns were nice and crispy as requested! Amanda was our waitress and she was very kind and accommodating! We brought my pup inside. Dog friendly! It was such a relaxing vibe! Will definitely be back! Great food and great experience!

Saturday September 12,2026 at 11:30am…read more Went in for breakfast and the restaurant was barely half full. After being seated, It took close to 5 minutes to get approached by anyone and was asked if I wanted a drink. Ordered coffee and a water. Close to 10 minutes later, my waitress came by to take my order. I went to the restroom and returned to find my water missing but my coffee was still there. Food arrived fairly quickly. The hash browns were completely overcooked with no yellow potatoes at all, everything was beyond crispy brown. The toast was cold and /or stale. Never saw my waitress after placing my order. Had to flag down some other employee for a box for my sausage and jalapeno scramble and my check. Considering the amount of employees in this place, the service was terrible. No one was rude but service was non existent. No one offered to refill my coffee or even came by during the 25 minutes I was there after my order was delivered. $25 for a coffee and scramble I've been to Nash's plenty of times and this was by far the worst experience. Crossing it off my choices when I come to Chico. Side note: there was a beautiful car parked outside.
