So, I said OK. I bought more fabric at another place to ensure the next purchase of fabric wouldn't be lost. When I took that in, they told me they had no record of my buying fabric or having a credit. Then, I showed them their paperwork and the receipt from American Express which I had taken a photo of on my phone. They told me that they did not believe it because it was not the yellow piece of paper they had given me originally but just a picture of it. I was OK with their losing my fabric. I am not OK with them not honoring the financial agreement. I asked to be reimbursed. They refused to do even this. So, I'm taking this up with American Express. One other thing is I asked them about their recordkeeping. I was told they didn't really keep records. I explained they needed to in order to file taxes and then to keep the records in case of an audit. I was told they didn't bother with any of that. I am a designer and hired Century to do several pieces for my clients. The day before installation,…read morethey informed me nothing was ready -- forcing me to cancel my entire install and multiple other teams at a cost of $1,300. Asking for more time is one thing, but failing to communicate is another. When the pieces finally arrived, the workmanship was sloppy and I was mortified that these were the pieces delivered to my clients. They failed to follow instructions in my emails which specified trim spacing. They ruined thousands of dollars of fabric and trim. Rather than apologizing or offering to fix the issues, the manager became aggressive -- shouted profanity at me during the meeting I arranged in hopes we could find a solution. I left feeling unsafe. Their delivery crew scratched my client's floors and door when they picked up the pieces and when they returned them. Unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to stand behind their work. I still cannot believe they delivered products that look this terrible.
