My dip nails are a little uneven, maybe ridges or curves could've been better filled. I made some adjustments after I left the salon. I'm sure if we went earlier in the day they might have been more sociable but for now we do not plan on going back.

Regarding my pedicure, I'll let my photos speak for themselves. DO take a moment to zoom in on the horror. From over-cut nails, uneven filing and miserable "cuticle care" to UNSPEAKABLY messy polish... which I had to entirely re-do when I got home. I still can't believe I had to pay for this. As for my manicure, I asked for "dip" but Tony decided I should have gel. When I objected, he got very defensive. It was late so I gave in. AGAIN, uneven filing, no cuticle care whatsoever, and the polish has weird lumps in it. $80 poorer, this is the third salon I've visited since moving to the area and by FAR the absolute worst.

Nothing fancy, just some quality girl time with a splash of polish. We were seated pretty quickly, which gave me hope... but plot twist: apparently being seated doesn't mean you exist. We sat. And sat. And sat. Like decorative plants. Meanwhile, folks who came in after us were whisked away like royalty on a spa-themed red carpet. Technicians were assigned to them faster than you can say "gel upgrade," while we remained the lonely peasants in the land of Deluxe. When I (politely!) asked the host what was going on, he snapped back with the warmth of a nail file: "You only paid for the basic service. You have to wait for the basic attendant. There are three people ahead of you." Ah yes, the basic attendant--a mystical creature who apparently appears only during lunar eclipses and coffee breaks. At that point, my granddaughter was giving me the "Can we go now?" eyes, and honestly, I was right there with her. So we got up and left--with no polish, no pampering, and no plans to ever return. So if you're looking for a place to feel judged by your choice of pedicure tier and ignored like a clearance bin nail file, Deluxe Nails & Spa has you covered. I showed multiple inspiration photos and explained exactly what I wanted, but my results looked nothing like the photos. My hair ended up orange with harsh streaky lines throughout, and there was even blue left in my money pieces. Overall it looked very uneven and unfinished, especially for the amount of money I paid. I reached out kindly afterward and explained my concerns, and while she did offer to fix it, I had already driven an hour to get there and had a wedding that same week, so making another trip back was not realistic for me. I asked if a refund or even a partial refund could be considered since I was going to have to pay someone else to correct my hair before my wedding. She told me salon policy would not allow refunds, but after speaking directly with the salon owner, I was informed there actually is no salon refund policy and that refund decisions are entirely up to each stylist because they are independent contractors. That honestly made the situation more frustrating because it felt misleading. I do want to say that Rachael was kind throughout the process, but overall I was very disappointed with both the results and how the situation was handled afterward.
