The owner listened to my request and what I specifically asked him NOT to do. Do not cut the sides short. My extremely straight hair will just stick out. I've been dealing with this hair a long time! He proceeded to turn my back to the mirror and chop off the sides with clippers before I knew what was happening. Terrible cut! It will be 2-3 months before it can grow back long enough to fix it. The inside is very nice with exposed brick and wood furniture. Great job refurbing the space. I've been twice so far, once for me and once for my son. My haircut turned out great and I liked the attention to detail. They use a straight razor around your neck. This is the only place in I don't know how long that hasn't missed the hairs around your ears leftover from the edge clippering. This is a great barbershop!

I tell her I'm trying to grow it out especially leave it longer in the back. I tell her to trim the back, get my bangs slightly above my brow line and blend everything else and add texture. Long story short she goes to chopping my hair taking at least 2 inches off the back and everywhere else, completely chops my bangs, they are almost an inch and a half above my brows and I had to stop her several times about how much she was taking off. She argues with me about it and at this point I can't leave I have to let her finish screwing my hair up. The one and only time I will go to this lady absolutely ridiculous and beyond frustrating. I had numerous cuts all over my face and areas that were simply not shaved down properly. I ended up re-shaving my face when I got home to my satisfaction. At the time he was in North Richland hills in a small shopping outlet. I learned to call ahead and make an appointment because he is a busy guy. The first time I went he was closed but the next time I visited there was about a 20 min wait or so because he was booked up for the day. He is very friendly and professional. You can see he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. I went in the first time and showed him a picture of what I wanted for my undercut. David did a great job on my undercut for just looking at a picture. David has many years of experience doing guys' hairs and also does amazing cuts on girls who like edgy hairstyles. Even when I showed him that picture of the undercut I wanted he did not shy away from a challenge. I have visited David for touch-ups and sometimes for a new design for my undercut. The last time I visited was before 2020 and David mention there was a high probability he was moving to a new location hours away from NRH. I believe this location is closer to his home because he mentioned it to me before. He also mention he had a daughter who had a hair salon and at the time he was splitting his time between helping his daughter there and his NRH location. I believe he is now working with his daughter instead of the NRH location. I highly recommend going to David to get you looking your best.
