I should have known when she went straight into putting pomade after the wash that something wasn't right. "Specializing in fades" needs to be removed from the list of skills. It's just about butts in the chair. I've tried several places around Weatherford recently. Yesterday I decided to try The Front Porch and I did so on a walk-in. many places do not do walk-in's. I walked in and asked "Do you do walk-in's? One of the barbers, Samantha Wheeler, replied yes, I do. I told her what I wanted and she gave me a great haircut. She asked specific questions to insure she gave me exactly what I wanted. I really enjoyed meeting her too. The Front Porch is a perfect name too as it's have a real down home barber shop feel to it. She gave me a military discount too. High recommend this shop and Samantha Wheeler. She made me feel right at home and I really liked the haircut.

They do a good job of giving attention to every customer while still getting people in and out on time. There are several good stylists here and I am comfortable visiting them all. However, Megan is definitely my "go-to" stylist. She always gives me a superb haircut! I can always see the difference when I use some besides her. I always try to make sure Megan is working on the days I go in. Only warning I would have is to mention that this place could seem a little pricey to some clients. This is not a $8 haircut shop. This salon takes their time getting your hair right and compliments it with things like hot towels, neck massage, straight razor shave on the neck, etc. Always remember....you get what you pay for. This is the best salon in Weatherford for a men's haircut.

She did NOT know how to dried my hair with round brush and dried hair the wrong way as my hair it's course and very dried, after all done she took my credit card charged it and did not give or offered to give me a receipt after paying $191.00 for her TERRIBLE HAIR services! After I left hair salon I did have to go straight to Ulta hair stylish to fixed the mess Rene have done on my hair! Rene's roots color did not matched the color I have before on my roots or either did not matched my existing highlights, she did not care and let me go like that even do I mentioned it was to dark, (see pics enclosed) She did so many wrong things on me while I was there, I could not believed how that woman is still in business;-( she make a mess all over my hair line with hair color and did not care to clean it off ;-( I would not take my dog to be washed and groom with Rene or hair salón, the next day I called the salon and complained about the terrible services I have received and asked them to refund my money but it was not worth going through the nightmare even do having my $$ refunded! The salon it's a dump place, it's old fashioned looking, very over well with all kind of old ugly stuff for sale in the front area; it's the worst experience I have ever have on my hair, I have being in many hair salons all over but none like this oddly place!! Not good hair salon and Rene it's NOT a good reliable "hair dresser" thumps way down

Laura cussed while my daughter was there waiting till my haircut was done…read more Laura messed up my haircut while full of attitude. I clearly told her from the start I wanted the sides cut all the way up to the top line -- no fade -- with a specific length and cut on top. She started fading one side anyway. I stopped her mid-cut and corrected her. "The top is going to hang over" she said. I told her thats fine. She switched to cutting it all the way up like I asked, but left the line uneven where the sides meet the top. When I pointed out it was uneven, she said it looked fine to her and didn't fix it. She finished, barely cleaned the hair off me, gave a quick blow-over, and charged me $25. I still tipped her $5. Came back the next day to get it fixed. The other stylist saw me, left me sitting there while she went to the bathroom, then came back and knew I was there the day before and refused to fix it, saying it was Laura's responsibility. I walked out. Won't be back.
