Lane and seating area when bowling
Oscar R.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and clean facility over all. Highly recommend you visit. They have open bowling and leagues available. I've been bowling here for 15+ years and enjoy it. Best part is the bar and gaming area. The bartender Deirdre "Dee" is very friendly and makes great drinks besides the usual cocktails. Love her martinis, mix drinks, Bloody Mary and special "Sonia" drink. Don't miss out and visit this place!

I haven't gone bowling in well over a decade, possibly even two. Dropping in here though to take advantage of their weekday senior rate was a blast. And it was about time to just see what bowling felt like again. Classic Bowl has been around for a long time and is a well maintained and well deserved popular 38-lane bowling venue in this area. I know of a couple of guys that bowl regularly in leagues here and they speak highly of the venue. The weekday senior rate (age 65+) is $4.50 per game from 9am - 5pm Mon -Fri. The regular game rate is $6.50. There are no practice throws, and every extra frame will cost you $0.75 per frame. I checked out all the rules as it's been a long time for me. Rina was the friendly and informative staffer at the desk and she is well known to the regulars and vice versa here. Eons ago I bowled in a work league and we practically bowled 1/2 game just as free practice, but none of that now! The wife and I found out our 48 year old balls still work and knock pins over lol! That is, when they are aimed properly! No more scorekeeping either (and I know that dates me) as you just punch in the bowlers' lineup on the keypad and go. Great place, and I was very happy with hitting the lanes here.

Full service bar and nice open layout

Great place to bowl league or practice. The food at Boba Burger is amazing and all the staff are friendly including the bartender and counter staff.

Scoreboard

Thanks to the gentleman at the front desk for making my grandson's first bowling experience great! My husband and I hadn't been to a bowling alley in over 30 years. He clearly explained entering names on the score keeper and asked my grandson if he would like a green or blue ball. Obviously we used bumpers for him and for 3 frames he was doing pretty good! Then the gentleman brought over the green dinosaur thingy to help him with the ball. Grandpa actually lost! Thank you for such positive attitude and energy! We will be coming back many times in the future.

Bowling lanes

Food is great, service is kind and the atmosphere is very chill. No problems parking, bar on site. Pro shop open daily.

We initially chose the first table, assuming the tear was minor, but after taking a closer look, we realized it was much more significant than expected. We immediately requested to switch to the second table with the lighting issue, which worked out fine for us. However, when it came time to check out, another slightly younger, taller staff member with long brown hair informed us that we would be charged for both tables for the 3-4 hours we were there, even though we only used one. My coworker, who prefers to avoid confrontation, ended up paying. I did ask to speak with the older gentleman we had originally spoken to, but he was busy bartending at the time, and I had to leave to catch my Uber. I believe this situation could have been resolved more fairly with clearer communication. I've always enjoyed coming here for drinks and pool, and we make a point to tip well. That said, this experience was disappointing. While I understand that the establishment may have its challenges, better communication and customer service would go a long way. We're easygoing and patient--especially since we work in the restaurant industry ourselves--but being charged for something we didn't use (that other guests were using--mind you) despite addressing the issue upfront, felt unreasonable. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider returning. There are other nearby places with well-maintained tables and better customer service that I would likely choose instead. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt this situation warranted sharing. I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

The only thing missing here was chips and salsa. That would have sealed the deal on recurring visits. Would I consider not hungry. Yes. But if you're even an inkling hungry their limited package chips won't do. The owners are extremely nice. Appeared to have issues with the live DJ who was putting music thru manually but it was enjoyable. If you're coming here to have the glitz and glam of futuristic sterility then dont come. If you're coming for a laid back business that just wants to give people a nice chill place to shoot pool and enjoy some Mexican music this is a good spot. Close to the palwaukee airport too. Probably a pilot bar. On par pricing for the market currently. Billiard rates across the area are pretty flat around $10-15 an hour upper end venues commanding a slightly higher rate and this place deserves it for keeping a vintage billiards hall untouched aside from vital maintenance. This is how you keep antiquities there for people to enjoy. Hidden gem for sure. Check it out at least once if you're in the area

Unfortunately, after what happened Tuesday night, I don't think I'll be returning. Robyn has been rude to us on multiple occasions. I've always tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe she was having a bad day, but Tuesday was the last straw. I came in with my girlfriend and my coworker, who is also one of my best friends. We had several drinks, paid our bill, and were leaving. For whatever reason, Robyn felt the need to loudly announce in front of everyone that we left a $5 tip on a bill that was over $50, which I found extremely inappropriate and unnecessary. We didn't argue with her--we simply walked away. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Robyn came outside and began yelling at my girlfriend and me at the top of her voice. The situation became so heated that I was trying to keep things from escalating, and she proceeded to call my girlfriend a "bitch." There is absolutely no reason for a server or employee to speak to a customer that way, regardless of how they feel about a tip. We came in to enjoy ourselves, spent our money there, and expected basic respect. I've given this place multiple chances because I genuinely enjoyed coming here, but after Tuesday night, I can't overlook the way we were treated. I hope management takes this situation seriously because customers should never feel attacked or disrespected simply for coming in and leaving a tip they felt was appropriate.

I get that there might be rules about being underage since I was 16 at the time, but the way she handled it kind of made me frustrated. I tried asking a few questions to understand but she really didn't care. No effort to help, no manager, nothing. Just straight up dismissive, like she didn't want to deal with us. We were about to leave, but then I recognized another employee I had seen the day before. She was older and actually kind. I asked her if she could help us, and she ended up getting us seated and we were able to order food. Don't get me wrong I'm glad we were able to get seated but If we weren't allowed to eat because we were under 21, then how did we end up getting seated anyway? It just makes it feel like the first worker either didn't want to help, was having a bad day, or just didn't care at all. I didn't get her name, but I remember she wore a lot of makeup, Hispanic long hair, looks kinda Asian, wore leggings that day funny looking. When we finally sat down, we had to pay before eating, which I guess I understand for younger people, but it still added to everything feeling weird but either way if they know that I'm underage why would they have me paying first and why would I order a drink with alcohol in the first place. We were there from around 3 PM to 10 PM, and during that time we saw more issues. A family sitting next to us was complaining because the waiter was taking way too long which maybe was 15-30 min, and eventually they just left (the waiter was Hispanic with short hair, glasses and looks special. Then another family came in and had problems with seating. They were told certain tables were "reserved," (by the same guy btw) but it didn't even seem true because since we were there all day, we got to see who was there and what was going on with the waiters not being able to satisfy some of the customers. Finally after they had to ask multiple times before they were finally allowed to move to a better spot to watch the big screen. During this time, the same guy (Hispanic guy, short hair, I'm assuming maybe assistant manager or actual manager which would be crazy because he was unprofessional, special looking) was making me and my girlfriend uncomfortable because every time I would look around, I would see him already side eyeing me not in a mean way but in a weird way like if he knew we weren't supposed to be there or he was just bothered that we were they're and maybe even being pissed about customers complaining about the crevice. Overall, the whole place just felt unorganized and inconsistent. One worker tells you one thing, another does something completely different which I'm thankful for because if it wasn't for that lady, we would've just wasted our time. Customer service really depends on who you get, and that shouldn't be the case. Remember, I didn't get her name but the young lady at the front had a lot of makeup, fat, long hair, looks Asian, had leggings on. The guy was wearing all black, had glasses, maybe the manager, special looking, and just bothered by us when we were just trying to have a good time since we were already frustrated.

The friends my husband and I came with come here often, so when they recommended we come for dinner, we agreed because obviously, something keeps having them return here. When my husband and I came here the first time years ago, it was for New Year's Eve, and it was PACKED and of course had a totally different ambiance, so I know this place can get pretty fun and crazy with events. When we walked in, there was no hostess and there was only a group of firemen sitting and standing by the bar, so we had to flag down one of the waitresses ourselves, which was totally fine because we came on a Monday night and it was a slow night for them. Once we saw a waitress, we were seated right away in one of the semi-circular booths. The vibe of the dining room is that of a normal sports bar with many large TVs, but they have a lot of different food, including Polish options like pierogis. Pricewise, everything is comparable to other sports bars; most meals are between $13-$20. For my drink, I ordered the mango mojito and it was delicious. It was sweet and not too strong. As for food, my husband and I ordered the "wicked wings" which are just their traditional chicken wings. We both ordered the garlic buffalo ones and my husband also ordered the parmesan garlic flavor. We both ended up liking our wings a lot because the garlic buffalo sauce was delicious and had a perfect consistency of not being too thick or watery. Overall, I would come again. I no longer live in the area so it's not somewhere I would want/need to commute for, but when I'm in the area, it's a good option.
