Like many, I've been getting my hair cut by Vick for a while now - about 6 years. The truth is, it's so much more than a haircut. Vick devotes an incredible amount of personal attention to each customer. He's great with kids; I've seen it firsthand having taken my brother to get his hair cut by Vick. His talent has shone through for many years. And now that he has his own shop, things only continue to get better. He listens and he cares, and is incredibly devoted and loyal to his customers. On more than one occasion, he has offered to come in before or after hours just to make sure I am able to get a haircut. On talent alone, Vick is great. But it's all of the extra attention and care that has kept me coming back, even despite having to drive 20-30 minutes away. Despite going to school at UCLA, I'd make it a point to come home every month and a half or so just so I could get my hair taken care of. In addition to the services offered at the barbershop - clean shaves, tapers, etc. - another great feature is being able to make appointments. Take advantage of the appointments! My haircut typically runs about 45 minutes long, taking into account that I also get a clean shave and line ups so plan accordingly. You won't be disappointed. read more

An amazing service! This is my second time coming to this shop and the staff are young yet they operate with an old school feel. A haircut, a hot towel scalp massage and close it out with a straight razor shave. Not only do they take appointments but walk ins are welcome and service is immediate. Nothing better than a good haircut right? Wrong A great haircut is way better. I'm fairly new to this shop but after only a few haircuts I'm a customer for life.  Kris is the only barber who (from now on) I trust with my hair! I get the exact haircut from her I want EVERYTIME which is awesome. Nice local shop, no loud mouth ghetto idiots cussing or trash talking like some shops I've been to. Stopped in for the first time today with my 4 and 3 year old sons. We just moved to the neighborhood and I noticed the Barber sign out front as I drove by. I must say the customer service as we came in the door was outstanding. Even though I didn't have an appointment they were able to get to us right away. It was my husbands first time getting a straight razor shave and he was a bit nervous. But Vick was meticulous and made him feel at ease. It is the best shave he has ever had and his skin feels great. We will be back again for a haircut and make this a regular place when we are in town. Classic Barbers is just that Classic. I walked in to this shop two months ago to get my haircut and was greeted by the friendly staff who were all smiles and dressed to the tee. My first haircut was with Vic who did a tremendous job and gave me exactly what I wanted. I've been back about five times since then and have had my hair cut by Itzel three times and Brian twice. They all do a fabulous job and they are all very friendly. Note that they do set appointments for those who are pressed for time. One thing I noticed that they are not short on conversation there.
