I frequent this establishment and figure that I had already reviewed it, until I realized that was nine years ago. Still going strong. Same great selection, very customer service oriented and good prices and advice. On this occasion, I was replacing hose parts on my gas grill. They have a large selection of options. I inadvertently bought a hose with a different thread size from the regulator. Returning these was quick and smooth and replacing them with a kit pointed out by the clerk was exactly what I needed. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful and they recognize the regulars, like a small, hometown business would be and I love that! read more

I checked the app to make sure that the product was in stock, ordered it, received an email that said my order was ready, drove 16 miles to the store to find out that the store didn't have the product and had cancelled my order. Moreover, I added another item to the same order BEFORE checking out. When I got to the store, they had no record of the second item, it was being filled by another store. Nope, never again! read more

Great selection beautiful flowers!! Had fun shopping their garden selection. Friendly customer service, helped me select the correct shovel.

Great service and great samaritan. Allen was very kind. Our car battery had died outside, and he helped us get back up and running. Very kind and appreciated! read more

Wish I could give negative stars. The staff used to be great but Ratclaw chick at front is toxic, ignorant and raw. People like her are the reason the little guys get run out of business. Prices are higher then big box but I was willing to accept that because felt like family. They get arrogant as town grows until they suffer from a big box or loose all their customers. Fire that girls she is the epitome of what bad service is. Don't give me your COVid excuses. Oh and the manager didn't even care. You'll never see a dime of my six year loyal customer money again. read more

One thing I love about Ace hardware stores is that they are all very individual and unique locations despite offering the same great core products across multiple states. Some are larger with a warehouse feel while others (like this location) are smaller and have that small town hardware shop atmosphere. Ace offers most items you would need to complete projects around the house or yard and they do a really good job of offering high quality products so you can get the job done right. The "Ace" name also has a line of store brand products that are often cheaper than other options and can be trusted to meet quality standards. On my most recent visit I was surprised to see a few sunglass display cases with Costas and Raybans. I may have just overlooked them on previous visits (I normally stop in here on a mission for paint, hand tools, gardening supplies or the like), but the cases were full of different styles and designs and were competitively priced for those brands. Another name that stuck out was Yeti - this Ace had quite a few coolers, cups and other Yeti items stacked together in a nice display. Perfect place to get outfitted for summer! I really don't even know where to begin listing everything that they have to offer because this store is packed floor to ceiling with stuff. I will say we've fixed plumbing issues with parts from here, purchased sink faucets, gotten all supplies before we sanded and painted rooms, repaired a french drain in the yard, got pool chemicals, bought a drill bit for cutting metal fire barrel, and done so many more projects that were only possible after getting supplies here. Basically, Ace is the place to get tools and supplies for a variety of home and garden projects! The friendly staff has always been willing to point me in the right direction so I can go straight to what I'm looking for, but I love to wander the aisles because they offer such an assortment and you never know what you are going to find! read more

My local ACE, Woodruff Rd, demonstrated Outstanding customer service. I tried to purchase a birdbath on line but couldn't be certain of getting color I wanted. 8/29 I went into ACE, described my dilemma to person in charge, who offered to order a pallet of 4 so I could get the color I wanted. Today, 9/1, I was able to pick up the birdbath. This wouldn't have happened just anywhere! AWESOME SERVICE!!! read more

Might as well waste your time in the cluttered store if you think of ordering curbside instead. If you cancel a curbside or online order, good luck getting your money back. They just direct you to corporate who directs you back to them before trying and failing to refund it. So excited that I have to file a dispute with my bank because a store won't give me $4.23 back. read more

Classic Ace Hardware - My CANCELLED order that I never got my money back for. - Hardware Stores Near Me - Greenville, South Carolina

I'm in this store almost every week; and depending on my project, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a weekend. The inventory is great, and the employees go out of their way to provide world class service. We are lucky to have this store on Woodruff Rd. read more

I came in looking for hardware to mount a new TV on a wall bracket. Andrew came up the isle asking if anyone needed help. I told him what I was doing, not only was he familiar with the brand of TV I was installing but knew the length and thread size of the screws I needed. He went directly to the product on the shelf. I needed 2 spacers that they were out of, Andrew said he had 2 in his tool box in his car. He went out and got them for me. This was truly an unexpected act of great customer service. Thanks Andrew and Ace. read more
