Upon looking at our mower, they told us it would be best to not even go through the trouble of a diagnostic test...it simply would not be worth their time and OUR money. How freaking honest was that? You never get that anywhere else I have been. Upon realizing we needed to replace our old mower, the owner suggested buying a used one from them that they had in stock. It was the perfect replacement for us, and we felt good about purchasing from people who actually work on mowers. I am proud of this small business and I suggest anyone who has issues with mowers or snow blowers, please give them a visit. They will not try to upsale you or give you bad advice, just to make a buck. If YELP gave 10 stars, I would gladly give it to them. Really make shopping here for most things a no-brainier. Brian, Adam and the crew here are always friendly and welcoming. They just as soon talk about your grow for 30 minutes and look at your baby pictures than sell a product and it has that no-pressure feel that makes spending money in places like that very easy. Easy because you know the guys are giving you sound advice. Admittedly, I do not use the base nutrient lines offered at the store, but I do not have anything against them. Heavy 16 has shown it's a great product no question. I do however like the variety in accessories, media, and a great selection of odds and ends to keep the mom's happy like Kelp teas prepackaged and ready to brew. They offer all the great microbial inoculates and boosters. One cool thing to see was fans, duct-work and filters. As well a range of Co2 options. All that being said, I would have liked to see some new "real" LED Tech like HLG or ChilLED. I understand it is hard to keep up with a market that changes so quickly but I am pretty confident anything built with Samsung Quantum Boards will be relevant for at least 2-3 years from sales. In Reality they will remain relevant for 10,000 hours of operation and while maybe more efficient lights will come and go but these true deal lights will still be producing some killer. Especially considering that we are still using HPS lamps.

There was a flock of hot pink metal flamingos, huge multi-colored roosters and bright red cardinals on wire hangers and metal stakes. There were enormous sunflowers, wind chimes and rock sculptures. And lots more. The back room had some vintage items including a couple of ladders that would be great for hanging quilts. According to the very nice gentleman behind the counter, they are usually open spring - Christmas and the stock changes as they sell out and replace with new merchandise. Around the holidays it becomes a big gift shop. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop. My advice would be to pair it with lunch and a visit to some of the shops along W. Jefferson downtown and make a day of it. You won't get dirty at The Dirty Hoe, but neither will you have to work hard to have a good time. Overalls not required.

There was no proof, just that the item was missing. I told her I didn't take anything and offered to help look for it--if she stopped threatening me. Instead, she took me to court. It took three months for them to produce video footage, which confirmed what I'd said all along: I never stole anything. I was not found guilty of any crime, yet I was forced to pay over $1,500 in legal costs simply to defend myself against a baseless accusation. Glow Fish Studios doesn't feel like a business anymore--it feels like a sting operation run by someone who gets a little too much satisfaction from accusing and humiliating people. I used to shop here often. I have no criminal background. This was deeply traumatic, and it seems they care more about "catching shoplifters" than actually treating customers like human beings. If you value integrity, avoid this place. They are not the small business they pretend to be. Overpriced shit that isn't even from real witches. Just gentrified, rich white women who profit off aesthetics, not authenticity. Save yourself the drama and support Motown Witch or Moonlit Mystic LLC--actual Black-owned Detroit shops that honor the craft and don't treat their customers like suspects.
