A great place to get pet food, livestock food,hay,straw,fencing,and even refill your propane tanks. Refilling them is way cost savvy compared to just trading them in. If they don't have something you are looking for, just ask, they will be able to tell you if they can order it or not. We go here every week during winter, sometimes more,to get our propane tanks filled, and we are always treated wonderfully. We also buy some great looking straw and awesome looking grass hay. Their grass hay has no horse nettle in it (I did find 1 bale with a couple of plants in it though). If I get hay anywhere else,I have to throw half or more away because of the horse nettle, it's extremely poisonous and will kill your animals.

They have never done ANYTHING that they said they would. I am supposed to be locked in at a certain rate but they have NEVER honored that and the price just goes UP AND UP AFTER they fill they tank. I was told a discount would be applied on my next refill and am now told there was no record and they won't honor the discount. One thing after another with these guys and I am so sick of it. Go ANYWHERE else.

By this evening around 6:30 they were not here yet, I figured it was going to be a cold night. I headed off to the local big box store to pick up a couple space heaters figuring there was no way they would come after dark in the middle of a snow storm. I got home from the store and was pleasantly surprised they followed through with their promise to get to me tonight! Thank you for your service and reasonable price! What a nightmare! Back in November we paid almist $500 for 200 gallons of propane to heat our home…read morefor the winter. Not a bad price. After foiling the first two attempts at bringing a gas tank (we are new customers, this is our first impression) They finally show up three weeks after they received our payment. This took place on a Wednesday, and did we get 200 gallons of gas? No, we got 35. They were supposed to come fill it Thursday or Friday...but of course they did not. On Saturday morning, three days befire christmas, we were down to zero percent in our tank and called the emergency line. It was twenty degrees outside afterall and we have two small children. There were 36 calls ahead of us, but we had to speak to someone. 45 minutes later, we get a semi friendly lady who tries to add a weekend delivery fee even though at this point we had been waiting on them for a month. She assured us someo was on the way. By 5pm we hadn't seen anyone and called again, sa.e deal. We called five times overall, the last call around midnight.One of the reps took our phone number down wrong, so just took us off the delivery list. When the last lady and i realized what had happened, she just gave me the driver's phone number. We called him, he was thankfully still doing calls and showed up at 2:30am!! We started trying to get someone sixteen hours before, not to mention the whole month leading up to this point. So again, we get a 30 gallon delivery, not the 200 we paid for. Monday morning we called the office, not the emergency line, just to make sure someone would come. They said yes, all the drivers were talking about us, someone was on their way. So now we look like those annoying, needy complaining customers, when in real life we were super nice to them the whole time they were screwing us. And then the driver still didn't come until 4pm (we called right at nine) and his final fill...175 gallons. 25 less than what we paid for. A month ago.

The owner of this business I know well. Bryan Correll is also a member of the Linton Civitan Club. When I told the man at the desk that Bryan knows me and that "The Creature" was there, he just laughed at me as was intended. Whenever I need any more propane this is the place to get it. This station has less of a convenience store/gas station feel than most places I stop for gas. It…read morerests to the north of the Kroger in Danville and probably because of the proximity, doesn't have a walk in place. There is a small dispenser for snacks, and there are items like rock salt and propane near the pumps as well. But here are the things I'm not fond of: First, the overhead protection is narrow and barely extends over the last car (the slot where I pulled in.) The rain, with any wind at all, continues to soak the area and makes it risky about getting wet when filling the gas tank. Second, the shopping area where the Kroger is located is downhill from the highway and doesn't have a light for pulling back onto the highway where traffic can be moving at a pretty fast pace. I was fortunate to take advantage of a light to the east slow the flow of traffic from that direction, so I was able to get out, but there are other gas stations in the area with easier (safer) access. The pumps were in good condition and easy to use and I was able to quickly get my gas and go. Just not my favorite place to stop in the area. Review #3526
