We do really like J Crew - so we just kept shopping and were polite. We bought several items before we left and those associates were still putting away what we didn't feel fit well. Being it was my first time to this location I was pleasantly surprised by the free parking for customers behind the store. That alone warrants them an extra star. Once inside surprised by the concrete flooring they looked like they were under renovation but who do I ask? I get to work to see where the bedding is and a couple displays to inspire me. I chose the quilt in a king size in a floral stitch flax color. I go to the register that had no customers and asked the sales associate for the item in the size needed. She checked in the back and was gone a long time I figure I got a 50/50 chance they will have it. Pleasantly surprised I was brought one still in its plastic wrapped up. I was than rung up on the register. No sale unfortunately but they haven't had any sales in a while. Just thankful I got what I needed. Definitely needed to see in person the stitching detail which you can't really see online. Not the color of my etoile shams will go with it. Definitely will return again for all my future needs.

It seemed that despite my wife's love for her new ring, we would always experience some issue with it. Time and time again we would need to bring it back to Modern for a repair or replacement. After our most recent issue, we just couldn't deal with this on-going issue. My wife reached out to Chase, an associate with Modern, to express her sincere disappointment with the rings quality. Without skipping a beat, without trying to make even one excuse, Chase showcased just how committed he and the team were at correcting the issue. They quickly remedied the ring, and went even further by upgrading many of the stones within the original band. My wife and I eventually relocated out of the state and were forced to wait on the rings return via mail. Well, it is finally back and looks more stunning than ever before. At the old place, checkout could be a nightmare but here all the registers were staffed and the wait was minimal. The inventory was a bit lean, but from talking with an employee the recent grand opening wiped out a lot of product. The ceilings here were much higher, but the basic TJ lay-out was still in play. I went to Blackbeard and bought a couple of Presta to Schrader adapters. The owner couldn't have been nicer and said he'd blow up the tires for me. I didn't have them with me then, but a few days later I went back with not only my tires, but also my wife's. I was embarrassed to bring all four in, so just brought mine. Again, the owner was really nice and did the tires for me. Then he said "anytime" and I asked him if he would mind doing the others. He not only said it would be fine, he even offered to go out and get them. All this for a $4 sale. So, I can't say enough good about him. The shop itself is big, clean, well laid out with a great stock of bicycles and accessories. I'd recommend it completely.
