The last time I visited I outright begged for an MRI because we were clearly missing something. The MRI confirmed sever osteoarthritis in my foot and it has progressed to the point that my only option now is to have surgery to join the bones and eliminate the joint. If Dr Byrne had done his job the first time I saw him I might have had other options to save my joint. Go anywhere else, even if you have to wait longer. Dr Byrne does not treat his patients needs.

Insurance can be a real headache. I must say, after a call and discussion, very thoughtful and empathetic, might I add, you were able to work with our client. I realize this may not always be the case, as the insurance companies run our lives, but, in this case, you truly made a difference. Nothing but kudos to you all. No copies of these forms given to us so we did not know about the $70 fee for cancelling with less than 24hr notice. 2. Cancellation fee is excessive based on actual time the therapist spend with us (15 minutes). 3. No 'empathy' from staff for someone who has cancer, recent back surgery and could not get out of bed. Called as soon as we could but no one ever answers the phone. 4. A one sided arrangement. Therapist was always at least 10 minutes late for appointments but we get charged for a late cancellation. This says they do not value their clients time. 5. Quick to threaten. When asked about the fairness of a late charge, their first response is to threaten to turn you over to collections. 6. No reminder calls or texts. A reminder which should include cancel fee information is not part of their business process. Conclusion: Poorly run business with poor business practices. There are many physical therapy services in our area. Choose another.

But Dr. G got me a time slot at the OR (though my repair wasn't considered elective). The surgery went well.. Dr. used a new technique (I think it's new) that limits the size of incision and invasiveness ....it is now 2 weeks post op and I've got my leg in a boot and am starting calf exercises. Dr. has seen me twice now everything is going great and on schedule.. hope to start walking (limit weight bearing obviously) very soon. I'd recommend Dr. Gunasayan in a heartbeat! Thanks Doc.
