The front desk was also extremely friendly and helpful, which is definitely not always the case for these types of offices. I've been to a few other podiatry offices in the area and this was by far the best! I look forward to going back again in a couple of months for my follow up. In my case he saved my trip to go to my families 70th reunion. Even though my xrays showed huge heel spurs - he kept thinking. There was no time to have any surgery and recover that was apparent. But he listened to my complaints and thought maybe this pain is not from the heel spurs entirely; but also from sciatica. He gave me some medicine for this complaint and Wam Bang I was a lot better - really a lot better and was able to go to see my family across the country. I cannot thank him enough. Dr Richard Norman has brought back faith in doctors to me.

My mother is 96 years old and has tremendous difficulty with walking or even moving, and it would have been nice if Dr. Edelman would have agreed to come at a time when someone would be home to let him in, but he flatly refused to ever come again because he was 'inconvenienced' on ONE occasion. Oh, the poor baby. Life must be so rough for him. I guess he missed lectures the day they taught about 'do no harm.' He's an over-privileged jerk. Heaven forbid any of his other patients ever inconvenience him, or he might not have any patients to keep his practice open. Sorry, I can't recommend him if he can't be more flexible and forgiving.

Im sad to say This offices care has left me feeling slightly neglected...MY first surgery couldn't…read morehave gone worse post op wise. Not only was my medication for post surgery not priorly authorized in time, which led me to not getting my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy prior to my surgery. But There I was, 5 hrs post op in extreme pain and waiting at the pharmacy to get my post op prescription finally. After waiting an hour for the pharmacy to fill the prescriptions that were FINALLY sent in, I was shortly after notified by the pharmacy tech that there was major concern with the combo of medications and the improper dosage and instructions. Therefor left me more time waiting on a response from my surgeon to correct instructions. In the end , no response from my surgeon.... which led the pharmacy to giving me a partial prescription due to feeling bad for me being post op and in so much pain but with a corrected dosage instructions to the proper California code. BUT ALSO highly encouraged my husband to purchase narcan due to the norco, and benzo combo with my other medications for my mental health being an exceptionally high amount of downers. I am now 24 hours post op and the medications have not been working well for me , so im still in extreme pain and surviving on little to NO sleep since i left the surgery center. This experience has left me disappointed and sad to have this be the care of my very first back surgery...
