Each time I had to go inside and get a receipt from the employee. When I asked why the pump doesn't print receipts, I was given two different reasons on two different visits. 1) the employee said something like 'the pumps were designed in Florida, and so aren't designed to work in cold environments'. Or something close to this. I said BS, and that we're in MI. He did that it's a Corporate problem, and that many other drivers have had the same complaint. 2) during my other visit that this receipt problem happened, the counter employee said something like 'none of the pumps print', even though he acknowledged that the pumps offer a print option, and I'm not the only driver to complain, and that Corporate is aware of the issue. All I know is that I avoid Speedway at all costs. So far it's worked. Does Speedway Corporate have a response?

Since he's an engineer, I assume he knows what he's talking about. They have a separate sign for cash/credit gas prices, but they're almost always the same, so that's been very useful, and they tend to be much cheaper than the nearest Shell gas station. It's easy access and I've never had a problem, but their layout is kind of odd and there are some potholes to watch out for. They charge 50 cents (I think) for air and they also have a donation dumpster.

Can only think someone somewhere sneezed and cause the price to go down. Especially when the last time I filled up I paid $4.33/gal. Went in got the 24oz cup. I asked the gal which pot was the OLDEST pot. She pointed to one on the top rung. I said good. and proceeded to pick that one up. She was about to snatch it from me, but I kept a firm grip on it and told her I wanted the STRONG stuff. She laughed at me and allowed me to fill up. I gave her the pot back so she could empty it and brew a new pot. I took my OLD coffee to the back counter and proceeded to doctor it up... mini-marshmallows, ND mocha creamer, cocoa powder, sugar free vanilla syrup, and 3 packets of splenda... Yeah I am sure I violated several laws of the coffee universe but hell this is why I come to Speedway - I am allowed to make my own concoction. LOL. I also love that the station is open 24hours. It's a actually a pretty well-stocked convenience store with a gas station attached. Anything you want is sold there. There is even a huge selection of liquor and other alcohol. I don't give it five stars because there is no air pump. I desperately needed air in my tire and had to drive down the road to find an operable air pump.
