Do not go!!! Garage and staff seem lovely, very clean place. Took my car in after a bum and leaking water, Paul was lovely, after going in a couple of days in a row and coming back out thw same paul offered me one of his cars. 3 months latter a phone call to say my car was done with a bill of over £1000, a lot of these parts where fine before going in but a paid and was glad to have my car back. First day and it's leaking water!! Took it back and Paul was lovely told me the pipes need replacing, I though surely a car going to the garage with a water leak that would be the first thing to check but Paul said he would just charge me for the part and fitted these the next day. A few weeks past where I checked the water levels and top these up when needed, after speaking to a friend he had told me I was filling my water up far to often and told me to take it back/ took it back to Paul and was told to bring it down and was giving a time and date, it was looked at and told I was just not turning the lid enough after he filled it up and put the top on I was told it should be fine. Next day still leaking water! I was the told it needed a new radiator so booked in for this to be done, next fat leaking again!! Took back once again to be told one of the pipes had slipped off when doing yesterday work. Fixed it and next day Yes still leaking took back and was asked what do you think is wrong with it I asked if the water tank had been changed and was told to go her a new water tank and he would fit it which I did. I asked if it had been presser tested and he told me it didn't come in for that!! After beeb told thet was air getting in the pipes dinner arrived and the car was fine!! Still leaking and having break light issues I was told to come back at 2pm as he was having his dinner and would need to order parts in for the brake light issue, went back at 2 and was told Paul was out come back latter!! I told this man that my car needs looking at and he said phone latter. I went to another garage that day and the brake issue was a bulb and cost £3 no need for parts so god knows what Paul was thinking. This garage told me I need to take it back to Paul as it had a number off issues that he was paid to fix, took back again he asked what I wanted him to do unless I had another £1000 plus to put into the car just sell it. So I've been left with a car which has had everything renewed/ replaced and the water leak still an issue as well as the oil leak I've had for the past 5 times I went to the garage which he told me he has fixed. My advise keep well away yes he will fix parts but the question is will he fix the right part and at what price do you go to keep paying him hoping he will fix the correct issue. Hi all. Remember the days when you could rely on a good decent honest garage that would give you excellent advise, customer service, all for a price that you could afford!... were you like me, thought those days were gone! well they haven't, it exists and it exists here. I own a Volvo V70 D5 Estate, very reliable car but if it goes wrong the parts alone are very expensive and this is what happened to me. Water pump failed, and need to replace timing belt, price from others for parts and labour in the area ranging from £6/700 pounds. Four weeks later, sods law cant get it into gear, diagnosis for new clutch and fly wheel from other garages in the area for parts and labour, £850/900. total cost for all would have been between £1500/1600 pounds. Clark auto repair replaced my broken water pump and timing belt, with a 2 year warranty on the timing belt for £300.pounds. Four weeks later gave a correct diagnosis for the gearshift problem!! not clutch and fly wheel, but' master slave and pressure plate, £360 pounds, thats a massive saving of just shy of £1000 pounds. I need to add, because of the gear box problem, my car was stuck outside my home, not only did they provide a service collecting my car and transporting it to their garage free of charge, Clark's also!!... Waite for it..... provided me with a courtesy car so i could get to work, not only that! they spent a huge amount of labour hours' free of charge! removing the front wheels that a certain tyre replacement company had over tightened the wheel nuts before they could get to the problem I am leaving this review because when i tell friends and colleagues at work,there is that look of disbelief, i really think they dont believe me. This is a great garage, who have people with fantastic skills, owned managed and run by Paul offering a great service to the public. I am very pleased to leave this review. I had a screeching noise which was there for a while and I thought 'I'll take it to a garage' but never got around to it. On the way to work today the screeching was so loud all the other people driving cars on the A19 were staring at me. As soon as I got in I Googled for a garage that was open late and Clarks was at the top, spoke on the phone to Paul who was so helpful, staying open after hours to give me time to go buy the parts needed. We got a free cup of coffee while we were waiting and I have to say the garage is the cleanest I have ever seen, the reception was as clean as a Dr's Surgery!! 20-30 Mins later and the work was done and now I can drive the car safe in the knowledge that it wont screech!!! Recommend this garage to all my friends and family. took my M series BMW in after it started to run funny and kept cutting out . i was made a lovely coffee while they did a diagnostics to find out what was wrong after 5 or so minuets they came out told me what was wrong and that they could have it fixed first thing in the morning i was given a very clean and tidy car to use for the day while they fixed mine. I was called the next day telling me my car was ready i came to collect it and was amazed as they had sorted the issue and even cleaned the car for me the price was fantastic i will defiantly use this garage in the future read more

This garage resprayed the front bumper, wing and door of my daughters Nissan Juke car (the joys of younger drivers) to remove scratches and they also removed a dent from one wing. The service was excellent as was the price. Also, customers who believe faults with vehicles prior to taking their vehicles to the garage are the garages responsibility. must understand the fault was not the garages fault.
