Oy Vey. As I recall we were at Jose's on a Thursday night and they had a pretty fun karaoke. I can tell you there were mostly younger folks but a couple that were almost our age. I believe we had trouble finding their signage in the dark and parked in a little area in the back. A bit spooky but ended up safe in the long run. The bartender was really cool and fast like the wind. Not sure what we talked about, but was definitely good folks. No food that I remember; if there was, we didn't order any. I think someone brought in a small pizza. So, you can do that. It's definitely a drive, but a solid comfortable one with a pretty good view of the lake, but it was dark out.

We had reservations with family on a Saturday night at 6pm and finally got to try it out. The place was already basically packed and it was lively. It gave me an old vibe of a place from the 60s/70s, but didn't feel dated. It was loud in here so if that bothers you, this is your warning. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was really good. The brussel sprouts standing out the most. My steak was ordered at medium and it came out as such. It was slightly tough on a couple of cuts thru it, but otherwise spot on. The parking lot is narrow and tight. If you're coming I'd recommend a reservation if it's a bit after opening. We will be back.

This DJ was extremely rude to us. On our first song he scolded us for putting songs in the queue, which is the point of karaoke. I have no issue with interchanging folks to sing so that it's fair. He made many rude comments when we were on stage. After a few of us performed he said "okay now let's get the energy up on this next song". The song in question was 'you're a mean one Mr. Grinch'. Which I imagine was pretty embarrassing for him. Every other song was him and his friend singing and unfortunately they sounded horrible. I like this bar a lot but I'll never expose myself to a terrible karaoke evening like this again. I really hope auricle finds a karaoke dj who is talented and kind.
