Very dated, weird parking/driveway situation and really felt like you're ON the offramp. That said - it was absolutely fine for the last stop before the final push home after a long road trip. Right by the highway(plus and minus points lol), comfortable bed, AC that worked well, and, though it's not really about the hotel, LOADS of doordash food options nearby for folks who just don't want to get back in the car again! Sometimes all you really need is a dinner delivery, a hot shower, a soft bed, and some binging of food network nonsene to unwind after a long day on the road. This place got it done. read more

Rooms need to be better cleaned and maybe time to remodel. The chair in the room was disgusting....who would want to sit in this!?! No conditioner in my shower. Why no hand soap by sink? There is lotion, but not even a bar of soap. I had to take the soap from the shower. Breakfast selection was good, coffee was a nice flavored bonus in the morning. Wonderful stay. From reception, to breakfast room, to even the cleaning crew....friendly and competent. This was the first inn on our vacation that the breakfast area was kept up (food checked on and refilled promptly) and tables cleaned. The lady in charge does a great job. And the little older cleaning lady with her cart rode up with us in the elevator was a sweetheart. Those gents in check in/check out were great as well. read more

My daughter and I are treaking across the country and stayed here last night :) when we checked in the sweet lady Kaitlyn at the desk was a riot and super sweet and nice :) we checked in at like 230am and she explained everything about what I needed to know about the stay fast and efficient so we could get up and get some sleep ! The BEDS were the most comfortable beds I have slept in !! So nice I just melted into the bed ! The room was clean ! And hot water in the shower means a lot ! All was Great ! In the AM the breakfast was excellent ! Sweet Rhonda the lady who set everything up did a wonderful job and kept up on it all ! Super sweet ! Waffles busiciuts gravy , eggs , bacon , yougurts fruit , cereals and more ! She was kind we chatted about our travels ! I would definitely recommend this hotel ! I stayed overnight at the Kingman AZ Clarion Inn Hotel. An older hotel that is meticulously maintained. The indoor heated pool is excellent, as is the early morning free breakfast. Everything in my room was very clean, especially the linens and towels. The rugs definitely needed some refreshing, but they had been well vacuumed and looked good. The wall heater/air conditioner looked fairly new and worked fabulous! Surprisingly, it was very quiet. The staff was exceptional! Everyone was polite, attentive and çustomer focused. This is a fairly reasonable hotel as compared to others and offers a quiet, enjoyable restful stay. I really liked the Clarion Inn and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel! read more

It's advertised that they take pets on 3rd party apps. I get her. Only dogs Guess cats aren't pets. And it's a non refundable reservation and the one person who can do anything is not answering the call of the people at the front desk. I really hate how a car is not a pet. We needed a clean, safe place to crash when en route from Phoenix to Las Vegas. This place fit the bill. It was affordable, check in was efficient, and staff was friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good. I prefer when a bathroom has a sink in the bathroom and is not separate, other than that no complaints. This used to be the Comfort Inn but it's still just as great. The rooms are big and spacious and very comfy. Very clean and smells really nice. Mini fridge and microwave are super awesome and work great. Love that the sink is separate from the toilet so it's easy to get ready in the morning when sharing the room with your loved one. Check in was a breeze, super quick and the girl working was very sweet. It's just so perfect. Easy on and off the freeway access. Great rates!!!! Close to a lot of places to eat, grocery stores and gas stations. I love that you need your room key to enter the building makes me feel safer. read more

The only drawback that I could see with this hotel is getting in an out of the actual facility. There is a narrow driveway where you have to register and when you go to the back it's a fairly small parking lot. The other side of the parking lot is larger. WTH guys? Everything was decent until I went to my bathroom and was greeted with a 1980's toilet, complete with the old style round toilet seat that had paint chips on it, plus several big cracks in the floor and a shower from the 80s as well... maybe the 90s at best. WTF?! A normal to larger size man cant even use this toilet without something touching! I literally Purell'ed my privates off after using this awful thing. This is the kind of bathroom I expect to see in an old Super8 except I paid Holiday Inn prices! I stay in hotels all over the USA at least once a month or more and this is the worst bathroom I have seen in the $90+ price range. If I pay over $100 for a room it better be from the 20-teens at least. Oh and Id love to not have to hear 18-wheelers exhaust brakes all night but, oh well, its included since the interstate is very close by. Never again. read more

My husband has bites down his leg after the first stay here. I reached out via email for some compensation for the inconvenience and they charged me the full price regardless. The front desk lady who greeted us upon check in was so sweet, and the cleaning ladies, besides that I wasn't happy with any one else's service. When it was time to check out, I rang the bell they had at the front and the woman in charge of front desk told me I could put the keys in the basket and go. I've never checked out like this before, usually it's a bit more of a process. She was rude about it. When I went to hand her the keys, she said to leave it in the basket (literally right in front of her, but ok) so I left it. She picked it up ragardless so why couldn't she just accept it directly if she was going to pick it up anyway? Idk, beats me. Not coming back, unfortunately. read more

Building is a bit older and on the "thin walls" side but the rooms are pretty nice. It's also still a way better-built structure than most Route 66 lodgings, which are usually super rickety motels built back in the 1960s that are held together with duct tape. Good hot breakfast, as Clarions are known for. They always have fried potatoes, eggs and sausage gravy with biscuits, and then they rotate a meat entree each day. One day was an interesting corned beef hash that tasted like it was made with chorizo instead, others were standard sausage and ham. Kind and thoughtful desk staff too. Has a fitness center, but it's mostly just a few cardio machines - there are dumbbells but they only go up to 50 lb. And one of those giant balls that I've only ever seen people use in adult movies. Way better than nothing though. Only minor gripe to watch out for is that on hot summer days, the tap water sometimes doesn't get cold - chuck some water in the fridge when you get in. Solid mostly 3* place though and sometimes only asks a reasonable 8,000-10,000 Choice points, the rates are also a little lower than the other nicer-end midscale hotels nearby. read more

TL;DR: Quick check in process, Hotel Tonight listing, soft comfy bed, small-ish room. I used Hotel Tonight to grab a room from this location a few hours before I was able to check in to the room. Worked well through Hotel Tonight and was happy with my decision. Once I got to the hotel, I had a quick check in, was told only a few things about the hotel, then was on my way to my room. Easy peasy. Once to my room, I walked in to your standard hotel room. I had gotten a room with a single king bed, since I was the only one staying in the room. The room seemed smaller than normal, but this may be because of the king bed situation. Two downsides that I did notice, though: I was charged by Hotel Tonight for the room and was also charged by the hotel. Trying to figure this out with Hotel Tonight, so if you use this service at all, take note. A minor thing for me was that the bathroom was on the smaller side. Hard to get around in it. haha. Overall, I would come back! Good experience overall. Good choice for the price! Would recommend. read more

Started out with being told the pool was out of order on Friday night. The elevator seemed out of order and the clearly couldn't be bothered by it. Turns out carpet was stuck in door not allowing it to close. Then Saturday the pool was fixed for a week or so and they must have not updated the system so the clerk the night before would know. Went down for breakfast Sunday morning and they were out of biscuits and gravy by 7 am for a breakfast that started at 6. Scrambled eggs and sausage was what was left over. The fruit in the bistro looked like it was hours from being rotten. I would recommend going behind them and staying at Marriott. read more

Had a bad experience in Laughlin with our booking so sought out a place for us to stay with 2 children 2 adults. I am not one to settle for a low price and just a place to rest the head... I am a bit high maintenance with hotel standards. I was beyond satisfied with our experience with the hotel. This is the second time going to this hotel due to having a reasonable price range for your stay if you're a trucker or just a normal person driving by and looking for a place to crash. I had one issue with cleanliness and a noisy pipe in the bathroom during my first visit in 2021, but they did end up giving me a different room when I complained to them about it. For this second visit, which was recently. I had called a head because I remember the first time they told me they had big rig parking as long as they had space. They also stated that they do allow dogs with a $20 fee. Even though they say they have big rig parking, they really don't. They allow truckers to use their general side parking which I wouldn't suggest it unless you're a good truck driver and can maneuver well around parked cars, and tight spaces. As for the dog situation, I didn't have a problem with it when I had called because they didn't tell me anything about restrictions or limits, but when I had arrived, it did upset me a little. They had me sign a form stating the pet I was having wasn't over a weight limit, and it wasn't any aggressive breed... now no one told me this over the phone so I did ask the lady if there was going to be a problem with those two situation and luckily she told me no. All the other stuff on the paper were completely understanding to have. My down size was, if you have specific rules to go by please tell the client over the phone those rules. It can get upsetting when a client arrives and finds out there pet is not allowed due to breed restrictions or weight limit. Luckily they were nice enough to still allow us to have our boy, but if those rules don't really apply, then please just remove that from your form. Other than that, our room was clean this time, and we had no noisy pipes. read more

We have stayed at the Clarion Inn in Kingman for a number of years with a large group of friends attending the annual Route 66 FunRun. This year we had a problem. My husband and I checked out around 11 am. We had stayed one night only and my brother in law and his wife came over for a few minutes as we drove them to dinner. The hotel took the usual $250 security deposit, but never returned it. When I spoke to manager, Kim, she said it wasn't returned as there was evidence of a lot of smoking in the room. I advised her my husband and I don't smoke, and she said it must have been your friends as she saw it herself. None of our 10 friends, who are in their 60's - 80's smoke, nor were they in our room. I advised her that IF it was the room we had, it wasn't us, and I would suspect the housekeeping crew as there were problems with them the previous night. I told her I know the night manager literally had to run up to the second floor to make sure our rooms were cleaned as they had not reported in whether the room was done. And, when she tried to reach him, there was no answer. It is pretty obvious to me, that someone at the hotel, with access, was in that room smoking, etc. She just dismissed our concerns, saying it was policy and just take it up with your credit card company!! Afterwards I realized how stupid does she think we are, she has all our info, so why, if we actually were smokers, would be smoke in a room! I know hotels have a big problem hiring anyone, much less competent people, but that is NO excuse for them taking it out on paying guest!! Not only will we never stay there again, our 10 friends will not be coming back either!! read more

We wanted a place to stop on our way to to LA and we thought Kingman was the the best stop. This hotel wasn't bad. It's a bit dated, the pool area was indoors, it was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. The staff was friendly in the few times we actually needed them. The parking area was well lit and I felt safe leaving my vehicle there. As far as the room it was clean. The bathroom fan was a bit loud and you could hear every time our neighbors flushed the toilet or got some water. But hey considering the price it wasn't bad at all. We'd stop there again. read more

Room was clean enough. Breakfast was ok, but it's 6-9 most places I've been too it's 10. It is what it is I suppose. There were extra towels already in the room so that was a cool perk. Only thing I was not a fan of was the third floor. The whole floor feels like it moves with the wind. Last night wasn't sure if it was my husband moving or an earthquake. You walk past another person and the immediate area just moves. It's nauseating and I wish I had known before I booked I would've asked for a 1st floor. Other than that it was an ok stay. My grandmother had a double charge on her card and no one could say why or remove it so that's not a good thing either. read more

The hotel itself is great! They have hot breakfast and the pool is open as listed. Our stay was a couple days and we chose the Clarion as they are a choice hotel, and we are employees of another choice hotel. But, the staff was so rude it was shocking. Brittany was extremely rude to my friend, who booked the reservation. Not only was she rude but, completely unhelpful. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself I'm extremely disappointed to see someone who doesn't take it seriously. Also we checked in about 3:45pm (check in is at 3) and she immediately told us we would have to go somewhere else because she can't accept cash this late. Next, we asked for cc authorization form and she looked at us stopped dead in her tracks and says 'PLEASE!?' we definitely said please, after repeating ourselves she said 'thats better, and no I don't have those let me have my boss send some' no worries but the attitude was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. Later, we asked if we could possibly have a comforter, she said they don't have spares and she doesn't know how to get ahold of the housekeepers. Honestly these are just a couple examples of her behavior and I sincerely hope this isn't normal and maybe she was having a bad day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel solely based on the fact that we wouldn't be treated with basic human decency, or be able to find anyone at the front desk at any given time between 4pm and 11am. read more

Inexpensive; that is the good part. Breakfasts are mediocre, and frequently late, due to the fact the desk clerk also has to prepare and serve breakfast, which is absurd; you cannot do two jobs at the same time. Supposed to start at 6; usually is 6:15 or later. They are supposed to have a "Bistro" from 5P to 10p for snacks and drinks 7 days a week. Frequently it does not open, so do not depend upon that for something to eat at night. Was closed at least one night last week, and so far, this week, has been closed the last two nights. I assume it is a staffing issue as well. If my company had not placed me here, I would not stay here. The staff are friendly, though, what there are of them, bless their hearts. read more
