DO NOT USE IN-LAW CONSTRUCTION!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Working with Inlaw…read moreConstruction was the worst construction experience ever. The company is unreliable, the work was poor quality, they damaged property, they stole property, the workers (including the owner, Ronnie Thomas) were unskilled, and very unprofessional. We had to get all of their work redone by other contractors. They were scheduled to work five eight-hour days and complete the job in 3 weeks. They consistently arrived late, left early, or didn't show up at all. They worked for 2 months and weren't even halfway completed. The tile job in our bathroom was awful! The tiles weren't level, weren't plum, the tile cuts were crooked, and the placement was misaligned. There was grout all over the face of the tiles. The bathtub faucet wasn't secured to the tub properly so the worker globbed caulking around it trying to make it "stick" (it didn't). The light fixture was not aligned with the sink. The knobs on the sink were not installed equidistant from the faucet. The drains, bathtub, floor, and sick weren't protected-we had materials fall into the drains and stick to the floor, tub and sink which they didn't clean up. They moved our drain and water line for our kitchen sink. They placed the drain pipe too high so drained water sits in the pipe instead of going down the drain. When they closed the hole that they dug in our concrete slab for drain, it was sloppy and not level. They put in a switch for lighting in the kitchen but it was wired incorrectly and didn't work. They put in a wire for a socket in our island but didn't connect it to a power source. The interior paint job was sloppy. There was paint on the floor, on the white crown molding and base, on light switches and sockets, on doorknobs and hinges, and drip marks running down the walls in various places. They installed drywall incorrectly (there was and area where there was 1/4 inch visible offset), didn't properly mud, tape, or sand the drywall they installed, they didn't use corner beads where needed, and the didn't protect the floor or furniture (mud everywhere!!). They didn't align the crown molding or make clean cuts and they didn't wipe off the excess crown caulking-- a mess!! They didn't clean up after themselves or remove the construction trash. They broke a bed, a lamp, stole a drill, and stole a purse. One of the workers told us that he takes Percocet daily and asked if we had any to sell him. The workers said they didn't know Ronnie and had never worked for him before and two sets of workers (he had 3 different sets come in to our home to work) quit because he didn't pay them. When Ronnie finally showed up (he was unreachable and rarely came to the job site), he admitted that the job was horribly done, that he wouldn't want it in his home, and that he had never worked with nor seen the work of the guys he sent to do it. He didn't offer to correct it, instead he said he'd do better on the rest of the job. Needless to say we didn't complete the job with him. We repainted the house ourselves, we used Rockit Drywall Systems to repair the drywall damage (Bill does excellent work) and Scott Ball to repair everything else and complete the job (excellent work).

Do not recommend this company. We had new vinyl flooring and a new kitchen installed in our home…read more Instead of ordering the flooring and having it delivered, they picked up 20 boxes at a time. Then, we were told the price went up so we had to pay $1623.00 more than our agreed contract. They took a wall out in the kitchen and never patched the ceiling then accused us of taking a nail and poking the holes in the ceiling. When the countertops were installed, they did a shoddy job gluing the L shaped seam, so now we have a rough surface and a gap. When they varnished the cabinets, no drop cloth was used, so now we have varnished stains on several areas of the new flooring. The cabinet doors all have gaps between the doors. We pointed out all these issues, but we were told there is nothing they can do about them. Even though there was a delay in the countertop delivery, we were without a kitchen for 6 weeks. There are more complaints, but too many to list. It looks beautiful from a distance, but don't get close! Their attention to detail has a lot to be desired. I feel this company does not take any pride in their work. Please take your business elsewhere.
