It's the greatest post-midnight, post-clubbing, mid-studying-cramming snack ...ever. I'm specifically thinking of El Taurino... ...but I digress. We need more taco trucks! When we drove by La Cascada, we thought we'd give it a try. Two asada tacos ("...hey hey... psst! What are tostadas?" "Just get the tacos... or google it!") and one shredded beef variety with everything (tomatoes, cilantro, etc) were ordered and quickly consumed. We chose the creamy green salsa and pretended to know what it was as we slathered it all over our tacos. Fantastic. The tacos could have used a little bit more meat and filling but overall, they were quite tasty. Mmm... tacos. If I'm ever in the area, I'll be back!

I got the Big Lily Mammoth crepe and I'm blown away by how good it was. Deceptively big portions and the crepe holder is a sturdy and perfect way to eat without getting your hands dirty. Pricing may seem high right off the bat, but these things are packed with ingredients and are worth it! I was given a buzzer and waited less than 5 minutes for my order to be ready! The staff was super friendly with big smiles all around and I didn't realize until looking back at photos that the guy was posing for the photo in the back holding up crepes, which is hilarious. Great attitudes, very quick turnaround time from ordering to receiving food and I would highly recommend trying these out if you see them! All their offerings sound delicious and based off my experience, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices.

Colfax in Aurora, snuggled between residential hotels is a liquor store parking lot featuring a taco cart with a neat little awning. A number of folks hang out in the parking lot, which can feel a bit ominous, but for the most part, people mind their own business. All of this would be worth the effort for the right taco stand, but sadly, this is not the place. With no adovado on hand, I opted for the asada (they also have buche, lengua and tripas). The meat was chewy and flavorless - a major disappointment.
