They have lots of clothes, toys, Mardi Gras items, glassware, and local artisan items, but no inexpensive gift items featuring Mobile or Mississippi. No one greeted me on the way in or way out. I made three trips back and the wonderful shop owner allowed us in after she'd closed but was waiting for her husband to pick her up. We promised we knew exactly what we wanted, we'd be quick, but she let us just stroll, relaxed and we had a wonderful visit as we browsed at our leisure. I picked up a $6 pack of wax melts in my favorite holiday scent (Aromatique Cinnamon Cider) and walked around the store with them. I've never stolen anything in my life, and being followed around the store like I was some kind of thief made me feel so uncomfortable that I didn't want to go back. I went back over the summer to buy a birthday gift, and I went in again today to buy make-up during Clinique's bonus time, and also to buy more smell goods. I haven't had that issue again and the sales ladies were extremely friendly and helpful. Dillard's has always been one of my favorite stores. It's my go-to for clothes for my kids and make-up for me. Occasionally, I even buy myself clothes when I'm there. They have great sales too!

Part of the reason I chose Dillards is they are located across the street from Timbercreek and thinking returns would be quick and easy if necessary. My husband did the same with a belt. I brought both the belt and dress to customer service with receipts and tags on. Both ordered with in the last 6 days. Never worn/ used. They called 2 people from other departments to look over the belt and then another separate person look over the dress. Never experienced this any where. Makes you feel like a criminal. Super offensive. In the future I think it would just be easier to order from a better store and return via mail.... There are too many options out there.

Local art, custom framing, gifts, home decor, and women's clothes and accessories just to name a few. Great place to grab a quick gift or new piece or jewelry. They definitely seemed to have something for everyone. I also experienced amazing customer service on my first visit. I told them in it was my first time in the store, and everyone was happy to help and answer questions about framing and other items. Southern Art & Framing has some beautiful local pieces that I am excited to come back and get. Loved the Mobile Bay map and the crawfish painting! I was also happy to find a local place to go for custom framing. Can't wait to use them in the near future!
