Today we witnessed who I think was the manager, disrespecting employees. She did not acknowledge customers, but berated and employee, very rudely, for not telling customers her name, among other things. When the time came to checkout, I stood at the counter to pay and was ignored even though I was standing in front of her. She did not acknowledge that I was there at all. She finally began ringing up my items but then stopped to talk to someone else for a few minutes. All while I am standing there just waiting. I finally asked the other associates, that were standing around the register, if they could complete the transaction for me since the "manager" started doing other things after ringing me up. They immediately scurried away. After a few minutes passed, the lady did tell me how much money to pay and continued ignoring me and talking to others. I had trouble checking out at the payment console since I wanted to bypass my pin, and had to ask the "manager" who was still ignoring me, what to do. I did point out, politely, that I was not getting basic customer service from them at this time. She then rudely told me what buttons to pushed and was very snappy. In hind sight I should have left the items there. I still might go get a refund. It seemed as though she was training the other employees on customer service and how to work at Claire's but this is definitely not behavior they should be mimicking. I only expected basic customer service and did not get it. Customer Service goes a long way. We will not be returning to this location even though it is the closest one to Magnolia where we live. read more

4.5 stars.....Well I'm sure glad I had a happy experience here :)! I came in for a second ear piercing. Since I haven't had my 1st ear piercing since I was a teen the analytical part of me asked many many questions which were professionally answered to my satisfaction! An Irma and April both helped me during my visit. I forget the lovely sweet ladies name, Irma or April, that actual did the ear piercing but I remember she had recently moved from Miami. She gave me 2 choices. One was the two week antiseptic and the other was the 8 week antiseptic. Knowing the simple ingredients involved, I knew both would not heal my ears totally in either time frame. Plus the cost was $19.99 to $54.99 depending which solution and earring stud package I picked. Obviously they use sterile stainless posts but the earrings were basic 3 mm stainless balls for $19.99 to cheap fake colored cz's costing $54.99. Knowing the price of inexpensive jewelry from Ali Express (Internet site) I knew just to go with $19.99 stainless steel 3mm studs. Good ole alcohol came in handy when my left ear started hurting probably from a slight infection. I would Not blame the store for this though. I have long blond hair and almost always wear it all on my left side. I googled ear piercing infections and it said Keep your hair away from the pierced ear. Such a simple problem is now resolving with wearing my hair up in a high pony tail. I looked around the store because they had a good sale going on. I bought a couple things for my hair which were more affordable than the department stores. I was helped by the other lady. My total experience in the store was a pleasure and enjoying. This is a great store mostly for inexpensive hair pieces for lil girls to adults. They had much inexpensive fun costume jewelry. The only part that bothered me was the fact the store was actually selling very inexpensive fake looking colored cz sterile sterling cz studs for as high as $54.99 for ear piercing. I guess you just have to have common sense in your purchasing. It was not the lovely Irma or April's fault. The price is set by Claire's. Claire's is in The Woodlands Mall. Listen! Do not let Alana or Amanda whatever she said her name was pierce your child's ears. She was so not helpful and seems like she just wanted to be done with the process. Went with my almost 8 months old to get her ears pierced and she marked the dots all the way up to the grizzle of her ears. I had to help her remark about 5 times on each ear to get it right. She didn't seem to care much about what she was doing. While my baby was looking around (as any baby would be curious) she stopped as if annoyed and then stood there waiting. No words of comfort or acts of patience. I had to hold the baby in place and she hurriedly shot the earrings in and said "I'll bring your paper works up to the cashier."Definitely wouldn't recommend getting your ears pierced by her. I called about inquires with getting my ears pierced and I didn't catch the guys name who answered the phone but he was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Im going to a different store to get my ears pierced, I refuse to give Claire's my money. Do better. read more

Will not take my daughter here again. They all kinds of sales advertised but when you check out everything is higher than the sticker price. The manager told me it's inflation and that the scanned price is correct not the price on the sticker. Horrible customer service. These are kids you are upsetting. read more

Do not get your ears pierced here. Completely unprofessional. They don't know what they're doing. my five-year-old was clearly nervous and they didn't even try to comfort her and talk to her and then the stupid lady pierced her glove to my daughter's ear and then said this almost never happens. Then they had to use crappy scissors to cut the glove off her hand which is still stuck to my daughters ear. Then they asked ME to try to remove the glove from her freshly pierced ear. didn't offer to give us a discount or anything. stupid people read more

We loved our experience thanks to Mercedes! She had the most loving vibe and she made our experience unforgettable. I want to come back without reason, just because of her. I actually would've given this rating a 5 star, but the other employee Sarah was the complete opposite. In my opinion I would get rid of her if you want anyone to feel welcome and to enjoy their experience. She was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable. read more

i went to this location because the one in magnolia has the rudest employees ive ever met. when i walked this location i saw the girl that had flipped me off. it was a surprise because i thought she was stationed in magnolia; i walked in to get an ear piercing and she cussed me out and had told me "you are fat, ugly, and you smell. therefore i will not give u an ear piercing." i looked at her and asked what her name was she said skylar. i just want to let management know about this because this is extremely unprofessional. i will not be returning to this location nor will i be recommending it to my family and friends. it was so bad again that i wish i could rate you guys a zero. read more

I decided to get my children's ears pierced here. It has been about 6 months ago when I noticed that one of children's earring was gone. Fortunately I saved the paper work and receipt. I called the store and was able to speak to one of the sales associates. I was told to come in to the store and to bring one of my children who lost their earring, so they could re-pierce her ear as long as it is within 60 days of purchase. I was relieved since l spent $300 I the store to get their ears pierced. I decided to go today with my children. I was treated very rudely by Gloria. From the moment I stepped foot in the store, she had this attitude as though she did not want to be bothered. She did not greet me, no smile-- just pure unwelcoming. I proceeded to inform her that I was told come, inform her of what happened and provided her with my pink paper work and receipt. I asked her if she could check my children's ears, to ensure that their earrings stay in place since we were there and the earrings have to be worn for 6 months to guarantee that the ear hole don not close. She refused and responded, "I don't see anything wrong with them." This is without even attempting to look behind their ears. I finished the paperwork, and I proceeded to the front left corner of the store where they pierce customers ears. I asked her again, an you atleast look at her other ear, I believe the other earring's backing is not in place properly which may cause that earring to come a loose, as the other one did. Gloria responded, "For what?" I definitely did not want to get in an argument since I noticed that she is the only sales associate in the store. I allowed her to re-pierce my child's ear. My child of course cried, she is only 13 months old! Gloria did not provide any type of comfort.. Absolutely "NOTHING!" Since I was there, I needed to get some hair clips them. I was looking for these hair clips o purchased from them and I did not find them on the wall, so I approached her and asked if they had them in stock or somewhere else in the store. When asked Gloria said, "We are out of stock." I waked back to the same section and looked in my own and found them hidden behind the other hair accessories. Later today I called the store to speak to a manager and shockingly, I found out that she is one of the managers! I DO NOT recommend this place. Gloria had no customer service etiquette. For being a manager, she had awful, extremely poor customer service, and had no manners! It is unfortunate how people like her are employed to provide service to people, when she does not exhibit people skills. If I could rate this place a zero, I would give it a zero. It is not the cheapest place to shop, so at the very least, being decently treated is an expectation since that is what you partly pay for-the product and the service.
