They offer a good selection of dresses and unique tops you won't see everywhere else. Brands you might see here include Ann Taylor, Lou & Grey, Anecdote, Apres Beauty, Brightland, and more. Most of the clothing here seems to be well-made and should last many years in a business-type environment. Staff here were friendly and greeted us. The store is very clean and organized. Some of the clothing here is bit on the pricy side but, is of good quality and durable. If you are shopping for women's apparel, especially items geared towards the office or business environment, LOFT might be the place for you.

This has been my go-to clothing store for many, many years. I can almost always find what I'm looking for, whether it's work clothes, a dressy date outfit or fun, casual beachwear. When I worked in an office, I'd say my wardrobe was probably 95% LOFT. The quality of the clothes is good and stands the test of time. I've got dresses and slacks from here that I've had for at least 10 years. Their casual wear can be a little on the flimsy side and don't last as long, but the nicer dressy clothes have held up beautifully. The staff are all usually pretty nice, but they seem to have a high turnover. It can be tough to find a parking spot on the weekends.

And of the locations for this chain can feel chaotic, but that's not the case here. I found some Vans shoes for our little, a couple of gifts for our friend and a good gift bag that came with tissue paper and a matching card. Everything was reasonably priced and checkout was fast with a friendly cashier. Overall: A Solid location for the chain, and it's cleaner and more well organized than some of its sister locations in the area.

It's sad to see this place so dead for a Sunday, they have a lot of really nice clothes and higher end brands here. I was specifically looking for a rock-'n'-roll style button up shirt but they do not have any like that available. They have a lot more Polo, Lacoste, and Tommy Bahama type tops available which is great but not what I needed. Alternatively, they do have a lot of cool jeans and shorts available. The Ladies have pretty much the entire second floor dedicated to them. Nancy was like well I need to take a day and come back here, lol! There is a lot a cool ladies clothes available much more interesting and stylish than the mens options. At one point Nancy pointed out a Mans top to me and said why would you dress your man in that, lol! Overall, there are a lot of great finds here and they were running some fantastic deals as well. If you're looking for something unique and special for work, an evening out, or an upcoming vacation, I recommend checking them out.

If you have attended any local maker pop-up markets in the last few years, you might have met Vanessa & her mother with their beautiful handmade swimwear, clothing, and accessories. YES -- they actually hand-sew it themselves! They now have a brick & mortar shop right on Virginia Drive where you can shop their full collection on the reg. The talent these ladies have truly blows my mind! LADIES -- hot girl summer is right around the corner and DePalma has everything you need to soak up the sun in style. I wish I had some tropical island getaway planned so I could flaunt these Caribbean-inspired designs, but I guess my backyard kiddie pool will just have to do. If you're like me and you prefer a little more coverage than the norm when it comes to swimwear styles, then you will LOVE DePalma's designs. They're all so unique and classy. To me, they scream FASHUN and make you feel so confident while wearing them. You can just tell by the feel of the material that they are made with quality fabric and will hold up over time. I'm not gonna lie -- I'd even wear some of their bathing suit tops as an actual blouse. That's how versatile they are, too! Additional items they sell include cover-ups, matching separates, graphic tees, hats, handbags, sunglasses, and jewelry. I've gotten some very cute purses, sunnies, hair scarves, rings, and my personal fave -- earrings! They have some fun acrylic earring designs that you can wear in the pool/water and won't get damaged. In case you haven't caught on yet, yes, my poolside look is super extra. #sorrynotsorry DePalma has its own designated parking spots in the lot behind the building so parking is always a breeze. The next time you find yourself in Ivanhoe Village, be sure to stop by this locally owned shop and congratulate them on one year in the neighborhood!

On this trip, we were looking for Ugly Sweaters and they had one of the better selections. Some were downright coarse in their humor which surely would have us beheaded for wearing them in public, but some were just crass enough that we could get away with wearing. They also have tons of T Shirts with bands, anime, and just silly debaucherous wordsmithing. If you're obsessed with the phallic motif, then you'll enjoy their selection of pins, erasers, lollipops and other trinkets designed for adult style parties (typically bachelorette, but it's almost 2022). Staff was helpful on each visit here, and you can usually find something disgusting and inappropriate here for people who enjoy that sort of thing. Of course, I always go shipping for others at this store as I personally find such impropriety and tittilation the reason the world will end on 12/12/12 (oh wait, that didn't happen, did it... maybe they meant 2112...
