I felt relaxed & confident in front of the screen. What made it so much easier, even though I memorized the script, was having the teleprompter right there within the face of the camera (IPad) so all I had to do was read the script & it looked as if I was looking directly into the camera. Mike operated the camera & interviewed me at the same time, which went smoothly in one take, but we did 2 just as backup. We shot at the golden hour, around 3pm, which made the video/ photos turn out stunning! He also took shots of me posing in workout stances to assist the verbal testimonial. She was super personable, down to earth and enjoyable to interact with before, during and after. She made wedding guests feel comfortable when shooting their video commentary which helped add humorous moments to the occasion and captured all of the special moments in unique and creative ways. She processed edits timely and flawlessly and produced an excellent final video presentation. Fast forward 15 years after my wedding, my father (Daddy-O) who walked me down the wedding aisle passed away suddenly. I wanted to incorporate portions of my wedding video that show my Daddy-O smiling, dancing, laughing and living his best life into his memorial slideshow presentation, however, I got divorced and couldn't find my wedding video. I contacted Peri in hopes she still had it, and she was able to confirm within a matter of minutes that she saved my video footage. Peri provided a test video for me to download to make sure it was compatible with the video editing software i'm using for my Daddy-O's slideshow. She was extremely helpful, down to earth and just sort of got it. She makes modern wedding videos that don't go on for hours, and finds the most touching, poignant moments. Truth be told: I was not 100% sold on a wedding video, but my mom (a psycho-therapist) told me it was a good idea for years to come of how we felt on that day. I'm very glad we did do the video because it captures the day's emotions in a totally different way than still photography and with all the excitement of the day, its hard to remember every detail (or impossible otherwise to see different perspectives).... and our wedding was only a few months ago! I really appreciate Peri's genuine/ positive/ caring attitude, there is nothing pretentious or high pressure about her. She is extremely responsive and present. When I called them, a young guy just answered, "Hello?" How unprofessional! First red flag. I told him I was impressed by their website, but the way he answered the phone was really unprofessional and sends up a red flag; but I'm willing to move past that and inquire about their services. That was his cue to express a modicum of humility and apologize, but no -he just asked how they could help, with a tone that clearly indicated he really didn't care. There was no life in his voice. When I began telling him what I'm interested in, he cut me off and said he's busy with a client. Wow! Obviously all that glitters isn't gold, as this is clearly NOT a professional business -one that would have someone answer calls when they're with a client, or simply not answer the phone, so they can stay focused on their client. Taking away from a client's time (and money) to answer calls is disrespectful and unprofessional. Seeing any further conversation would be wasted on him, I hung up.

Does ISO, f stop, and aperture totally confuse you. It should. But Jared makes it simple... "Photography is all about light" "The Aperture mode is the artistry mode" "The ISO is like a dimmer" Golden. Unlike other teachers he LIKES teaching and never is condescending. The quality of the video I received was first class. The way the team integrated both cameras in the shot came through was perfect. Marina was superb to work with. She was diligent about scoping out and creating a contract from my needs. She was responsive and flexible when we discussed what her work would be that night. I loved how her cameras were small and high quality not taking up a lot of seats in the theater was really valuable as I could sell more seats. Her work post production was remarkable. She was professional as we iterated on that the ultimate video looked and sounded like. I'm SO happy I hired her to do that post production work, no way I could have done that myself.
