This is the place to go if you're looking to learn about lavenders and looking for help selecting…read morethe best variety for your situation. I really can't say enough good things about Chris - she was super knowledgeable, helpful, and patient in consulting which variety of lavender would best suit the space I had in mind and my use case (low maintenance and only needing one trim a year). Since she runs the place by appointment only, I first called then emailed with more details of the space I was trying to fill and what I was looking for. After some back and forth, I made an appointment to stop by, look at specific varieties, and pick out some plants. The day of, she went through the different families of lavender and helped me narrow down to a specific variety, looking at the dried cuttings from last year as well as plants in her garden. She also had plenty of other hardier medicinal plants available including multiple types of mints, thymes, rosemaries, and other herbs. All the plants are very reasonable priced and I couldn't be happier with my experience. It's very clear that Chris has a passion for her plants.

Come here for the best selection of lavender varieties, the best lavender products like sachets, wands, and lotions & potions, and best of all... an opportunity to view how lavender grows, feels and smells in the garden. If you're anything like me, you need to see plant varieites in person, not just in your favorite garden design books. I can't make a decision on what's going in my garden unless I see how someone else has implemented it. Located in a residential setting, parking wasn't the first consideration when designing the layout of the farm. If you or someone you're visiting with has mobility issues, try dropping them off near the entrance before parking. The gravel path has a gentle grade and can pose risks for those prone to falls. But don't let that deter you from visiting the crown jewel of lavender farms in the area!

I can only assume they're more casual plant owners as we found the prices extremely comparable to big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's and felt that the quality was much better. We bought fairly basic houseplants as we prefer not to have to rely on grow lights to support the more fun, exotic tropicals. We bought a highly variegated pothos (I'm thinking it's a golden queen, but I didn't double check) and two vibrant purple inch plants with hearty substantial stems and paid $50 total. We chatted with the owner and learned his story and just generally enjoyed supporting a small business. I'll be recommending this shop to all my plant friends!

I didn't want a "removal" or an "install," I wanted a long-term partnership with caring humans who would help me wrestle my space into a proper ecological safe haven and food forest I can actually handle - without clearcutting it all. Matt came out for the consult, and I learned so much just from that; he knew the uses for practically every plant here. He resonated with my vision, and made a plan that was right for me. Then, he, Rachel and Angel came out yesterday and dug in. Honestly, it was so nerve-wracking to open my space up and trust. I left for my day job while they were in the middle of pruning-weeding-everything-everywhere, got home after dark, then went out in my slippers and jams this morning, coffee in hand, to see what they'd done. What I beheld was like a gift, like my Garden Fairy Godmother had come and waved her wand all around my space. I literally teared up seeing the shrubs we agreed to keep carefully pruned, those slated for removal completely gone, invasives removed, and cuttings carefully laid out as mulch or to create new walkways. They added to my limb-bordered path, and added and raked in gravel from my pile to show the vision. They even collected the apples from the tree Matt pruned in a bucket for me. Whole mini bioregions of my garden are opened up now. I have gone from hopeless to thrilled. I'm ready to dream a beautiful future for this place, and my life, and this is a very, very big deal. I'll be enthusiastically hiring them back to continue this transformation, and I cannot wait. Will add photos shortly.
