I cannot believe she used so many wonderful skin care products, cutomized for my skin type, which is oily. My skin literally glowed, was supple yet firm, and pores minimized. I wish she took before and after pics. She also used various techiniques like vibration, steam, and cold. Truly like no other and for the fraction of the cost. Extremely disappointing customer service and scheduling experience…read more I booked an appointment with Melanie Saldivar a week in advance for Saturday at 1:00 PM, which was the time suggested by the receptionist. I rearranged my entire day, moved other appointments, and adjusted my work schedule specifically for this appointment. The salon called only one hour before my appointment to tell me that Melanie Saldivar would not be available because she was running behind with another client. This was especially frustrating because the salon had called the previous day to confirm my appointment, and I had clearly confirmed that I would be there. After I explained that I had already reorganized my schedule, they offered me a 2:00 PM appointment instead. I arrived a few minutes early and then waited for nearly 30 minutes. I had even skipped lunch to make it there on time. At that point, I decided to leave because there was no clear communication about when I would actually be seen. What disappointed me even more was that after I left, no one called, texted, or checked in to see what happened. As I am writing this review at 3:00 PM, I still have not received any apology, update, or follow-up from the salon. This entire experience showed a complete lack of respect for a customer's time. I planned my day around this appointment, only to deal with a last-minute change, a long wait, and no communication afterward. Professionalism and customer service were completely lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values their time and expects appointments to be honored and customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

She talked about her personal life the ENTIRE time. So much so that she forgot steps and repeated some on the same foot twice. The polish job was uneven, and spots were missed. I had to go to another salon for a polish change. I don't mind "salon gossip" but it was OVER bearing. I also felt like the tools she used were dirty, or used on other people before me. I took the time to look up the salon the next day and found out the nail tech isn't even licensed!!!! I'm not sure what's going on there, but save the time and money and go elsewhere.
