The first thing I am told is they are moving to Shelton which is not particularly convenient for me. Then I spoke with Joe about services and that's when I began to wonder what I was in for. I imagine he knows what he's doing but he is also a salesman and I got the feeling that as a cash patient I might be in for it. He told me it could take 20 sessions and at $150 a pop that's $3000. in this economy I can't do it. so I paid $312.50 for a package (only half down) for five visits. I am a senior citizen with limited means and feel a bit scammed. They should have told me up front they were moving when I called. it has been 12 hours and my symptoms are back. My sense of well being is low but I am stuck. I am not sure I can go back but can't afford to write off $162. My other acupuncture experience was much longer lasting and while I had issues with the provider I never felt hustled. The effect of her treatment for my knee pain is still working. My battlefield treatment not so much. I am not willing to settle and will continue to look for a provider that fits me better. Otherwise they seem like nice people but with strings attached.

Here's why I walked out - I called and set up appointment on the phone and that person said they do not provide free consultation, so she took a credit card and said there's a no show charge of $25. So I went - the office has kind of a creepy goth decor - dark grey walls, red velvet chairs. It's really small with a few tiny rooms around the waiting area - the "receptionist" is sitting at what looks like a tray table. No doctor on site. People working there were complaining about work of course loud enough for everyone to hear because the place is about the size of my dining room, and they seemed to have no energy, not even friendly except for the receptionist. The rest of them just walked by and completely ignored me although I was the only "patient" there. I say "patient" in quotes because I did not feel like I was in a medical or professional facility for that matter. They took my insurance card and license. Then told me today would cost $425 because I have to meet my deductible. Of course it's my insurance fault, right? and when I asked what the typical office visit cost, she said "it depends". BTW she showed me the cost hand written on a post-it note, just the number $425. I asked what was included in the $425 - bloodwork, visit, vitamins, "stuff"... no printout or breakdown in writing of what i was paying for. I asked again what the cost of the visit was - she again said "it depends".... I can't plan my finances with "it depends" - like they hook you in and expect you will continue to pay whatever they say the cost is on that day, no clear cost of the program or even the charges I was expected to pay for the first visit. She also told me the phone operators were misinformed. I walked out... it's not the cost, it's the lack of transparency and organization - My suggestion to anyone considering this place is go elsewhere - if you want support and a Wegovy prescription, which in itself is expensive without insurance, go elsewhere, like Sequence online, or ask you primary care doctor. This place exists just to separate you from your money. And it's creepy. And worst of all there is no doctor.

My new rehab place and my in house therapist for my right knee both said my left knee should have been further along AND I did more PT at home than I did at Rehab Associates. Complete waste of time. I could not recommend them at all. They just care about hurrying up, getting you in and getting you out. My half hour session consisted of 5 minutes on the bike and 5 minutes icing you down. How much therapy do you get for 20 minutes, not much.
