I'm currently recovering from a knee replacement and the physical therapists at After Care have been helping immensely with my recovery. My knee is getting stronger and more stable and my range of motion has been improving steadily over the last few weeks with them. Because of their 1 therapist to 1 patient philosophy I not only get the opportunity to thoroughly understand each exercise but to learn more about why each exercise is important. And with a therapist dedicated to my care during each visit, they can quickly spot when they need to modify any activity to make it either easier or more challenging. I have just had knee revision surgery. The physical therapy I have received at Aftercare has been very good. My range of motion, strength and flexibility have increased with every session. I did not have a good experience here. My therapist talked continuously, which I didn't think would present a problem until the therapist was doing a procedure and I felt pain and told her so. She continued while still talking about her personal life and then had me do an exercise upon which I had more pain. The pain became worse and I had to see my doctor again, who ordered tests and signed a prescription for physical therapy for this area. I still have pain in this area occasionally, having never felt it until the day with the therapist. I called to speak to the owner of the business, but instead got a call from the therapist. read more

I'm a former patient of AfterCare PT, which helped speed my recovery from a grade 3 ankle sprain. I've been to other PT practices, and the care and attention provided at AfterCare is second to none. Not only is it 1 to 1 therapist to patient care, the therapists and aides know how to push the patient to greater achievement, while respecting the patient's need to know they're being treated in a safe and rehabilitative manner. Each procedure is thoroughly discussed and its benefit explained. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable.
