My neighbor had used TJ's services at 4LeafClover a while back to pave their backyard, so I called. He came out next morning and gave me an estimate and a few options for materials he had on hand already and could provide for a discount. He happened to have availability, and he and a helper came out that afternoon and started the demo of the existing concrete slabs and weeding. The next day, they came and continued digging out and started filling and leveling the ground. The paving looks excellent, and TJ made sure the design was functional for irrigation (important especially with all the flooding). For ease of moving stuff to/from truck, they tapped out a few planks of the fence. A few pieces were slightly damaged, and they replaced it before they wrapped up on Day 3 - no questions asked. I love the little pattern he did in alternating the direction of the paving - I never even thought of all these little details. He came back day 3 and finished it off in the morning. I'm in love with my new backyard! TJ also always had the brightest smile. In 95+ weather after 6+ hours of hard labor, that positive attitude really stood out to me. 5 stars all the way!

Jeremy is the most dishonest person I have ever contracted work with. He sent a crew of guys to sod…read moremy yard in April. I have a 6 zone irrigation system and followed their EXACT watering instructions. Grass began disappearing after 3 weeks. I called and got new watering instructions, but it did not help. Jeremy refused to come out to my house to assess the issue after spending $1600 with them and proceeded to yell at me through the phone that "IT IS YOUR FAULT THE GRASS IS DEAD NOT MINE". After multiple conversations he agreed to re-sod 2 pallets for $150 labor cost. Week after week he came up with excuses as to why he couldn't come out. After 2 months I finally realized I was being lied to and he eventually blocked my number. I drove to his "address" on 1960 which is actually a small piece of a lot that he rents on occasion. I had the land owner call him and he eventually told me "I will mail you a $300 check for your trouble". 1.5 months later and still no check or sod... This guy is a complete snake. Stay away. In fact they sent pictures so I can have it for my records. Also I had multiple quotes and I believe Mike and his team are the best fit. I met the team and many have been with them for 15 years. Shail Amador is a real craftsman at putting in paver pathways. Based on a recommendation from Rick…read moreat Faber CNK, I contacted Shail and he fairly quickly came to look at the job and give a very fair quote. He communicated well along the way as the rain caused delays in all exterior yard contractors schedules. He and his crew were the best contractors we had across the many during our patio build and new yard build. Our job is fairly substantial - about 320 16" X 16" silver travertine pavers (from Rick at Faber CNK) in 40" wide pathways with backstar gravel plus chopped stone edging all along the garden/tree beds around the new backyard. Probably about 300 linear feet of 40" wide pathways plus backstar gravel around the back of the house. While he was here and in addition to the planned work, they also installed 15 in-ground LED well lights into the pathways, put in an additional drain, and installed holes/pipes for the main gate cane bolts. Shail also recommended where to get the chop stone and picked it up for the job. This is his own small business, and Shail treats his customers very well while doing the work along with his crew. I cannot compliment Shail and his crew enough. They were in and out in four days plus Shail came back after a full day's work on a Saturday to finish up a few hours on Saturday evening. Relative to our other contractors, Shail and his crew took care to keep the yard free of trash and leave the remaining materials organized. The work is beautiful and we've already had many neighbor complements. Please see the attached pics. I had a major job o aake caare of since my insurance company was threatening to cancel our home insurance if we didn't trim back the 100 year trees back away from the roof. There were a lot of challenges including my privacy fence. We had agreed that part of it would have to be removed in order to complete the job.
