He is thoughtful and absolutely goes the extra mile. He thought through with my husband how to drill a custom hole in our tile to route the gas line for our outdoor kitchen in the most attractive way possible. His kindness and extra effort is so appreciated! After their great work on our patio, we had them create a paver area around the side of our house for storage. Again TJ went above and beyond by using the grass they had to remove to fill in spots within our yard. I highly recommend TJ for any similar projects you might have.

My neighbor had used TJ's services at 4LeafClover a while back to pave their backyard, so I called. He came out next morning and gave me an estimate and a few options for materials he had on hand already and could provide for a discount. He happened to have availability, and he and a helper came out that afternoon and started the demo of the existing concrete slabs and weeding. The next day, they came and continued digging out and started filling and leveling the ground. The paving looks excellent, and TJ made sure the design was functional for irrigation (important especially with all the flooding). For ease of moving stuff to/from truck, they tapped out a few planks of the fence. A few pieces were slightly damaged, and they replaced it before they wrapped up on Day 3 - no questions asked. I love the little pattern he did in alternating the direction of the paving - I never even thought of all these little details. He came back day 3 and finished it off in the morning. I'm in love with my new backyard! TJ also always had the brightest smile. In 95+ weather after 6+ hours of hard labor, that positive attitude really stood out to me. 5 stars all the way!

He initially responded within a day or two. Then after 2-3 email exchanges, he decided not to respond anymore in spite of many attempted communications from our part. Only thing I can surmise from the silence is that it is too much trouble to answer questions such as how much the price would change if we deleted one part of the project, and when he could start on the project. Very disappointing as we were ready to hire him.

Shail Amador is a real craftsman at putting in paver pathways. Based on a recommendation from Rick…read moreat Faber CNK, I contacted Shail and he fairly quickly came to look at the job and give a very fair quote. He communicated well along the way as the rain caused delays in all exterior yard contractors schedules. He and his crew were the best contractors we had across the many during our patio build and new yard build. Our job is fairly substantial - about 320 16" X 16" silver travertine pavers (from Rick at Faber CNK) in 40" wide pathways with backstar gravel plus chopped stone edging all along the garden/tree beds around the new backyard. Probably about 300 linear feet of 40" wide pathways plus backstar gravel around the back of the house. While he was here and in addition to the planned work, they also installed 15 in-ground LED well lights into the pathways, put in an additional drain, and installed holes/pipes for the main gate cane bolts. Shail also recommended where to get the chop stone and picked it up for the job. This is his own small business, and Shail treats his customers very well while doing the work along with his crew. I cannot compliment Shail and his crew enough. They were in and out in four days plus Shail came back after a full day's work on a Saturday to finish up a few hours on Saturday evening. Relative to our other contractors, Shail and his crew took care to keep the yard free of trash and leave the remaining materials organized. The work is beautiful and we've already had many neighbor complements. Please see the attached pics. If you need pavers put in, Shail is the contractor you should call (and get the travertine from Rick at Faber CNK). Contact me if you'd like more info or recommendations. https://amadorpaverspro.com

I have a 6 zone irrigation system and followed their EXACT watering instructions. Grass began disappearing after 3 weeks. I called and got new watering instructions, but it did not help. Jeremy refused to come out to my house to assess the issue after spending $1600 with them and proceeded to yell at me through the phone that "IT IS YOUR FAULT THE GRASS IS DEAD NOT MINE". After multiple conversations he agreed to re-sod 2 pallets for $150 labor cost. Week after week he came up with excuses as to why he couldn't come out. After 2 months I finally realized I was being lied to and he eventually blocked my number. I drove to his "address" on 1960 which is actually a small piece of a lot that he rents on occasion. I had the land owner call him and he eventually told me "I will mail you a $300 check for your trouble". 1.5 months later and still no check or sod... This guy is a complete snake. Stay away. I attached screenshots showing the lack of response and constant runaround.

We wanted to transform our backyard into a fun and usable space; Ravenscourt delivered…read more Before we met, we completed a detailed questionnaire on their website, which helped define our goals and style. Shawn and Lauren came to our house in early spring, to review our 'wish list' and problem areas of our yard. First and most importantly we wanted a patio, with a pergola. Large enough for a picnic table, nothing fussy but maybe something causal like that at an ice house. Next I wished for a small Louisiana inspired courtyard to remind me of home. We needed extra storage because we only have a small one car garage that is full of bikes, so maybe a bike shed. And I needed something easy to maintain that would be wildlife friendly like a little woodland park.. We also needed to look at our yard and irrigation. Lauren looked over our space and listened to me ramble about my dream yard. Shawn measured everything. Our 2nd meeting was at their home/office and the plans were revealed. Lauren had listened and her beautiful design captured all my wishes. Shawn reviewed the entire plant list, materials and costs. The proposal was professional, completely detailed with photos and names of each plant and flower, photos of previous projects that were similar, and broken up in the following components - Yard Landscaping - Pergola - Bike Shed - Flagstone Patio - Side Yard Screen (for courtyard) - Raised Bed - Irrigation. This way we could select which project for now and for later. We had to wait til August for our project to begin and we had them do ALL of the projects. We have exactly what was detailed in the proposal and are very pleased. I love the flagstone path around my yard, it is like walking in a park. The raised bed has irrigation and tons of sun so my herbs should be very happy. I am seeing new birds and butterflies and hummingbirds that I hadn't seen before. Lauren and Shawn make the perfect team. Their enthusiasm is enchanting, it is wonderful to hear them describe the flora and fauna on the project, one day I will be able to tell you the names of all 28 new plants and flowers that were added to my yard. Check out the photos of our project on their site or here at Houzz. We are A Little Texas Ice House A Little Meditation Garden.

Our experience with Ravenscourt Landscaping and Design was nothing short of transformative. Shawn,…read moreLaurin, and their team turned our underwhelming yard into a stunning oasis that exceeded all our expectations. From design to execution, every step of the process was thoughtful, professional, and seamless. We started with home shows and reading reviews and reached out to three different companies. We met one face to face at a home show, they didn't respond after. Another came out to our home, took some photos and came back a week later with an uninspired design and a sprinkler quote that was 3x larger than Ravenscourt. Shawn came out to our home, took photos and we made a small payment for a design proposal. When it was ready, Shawn and Laurin had my wife and I to their home and walked us through their vision for the yard. Laurin put so much thought into every detail, it was clear they genuinely cared about making this yard special for us. There was no pressure, just excitement, and you could see how passionate they are about what they do. Once the work started, Shawn explained the process step by step, introduced the team, and they got to it. The crew was there every morning, ready to go, and if bad weather delayed things, Shawn was on top of it and let us know right away. Throughout the project, he checked in regularly to see how we felt about the progress. If we had questions or ideas, he was always happy to listen and explain things. Honestly, having Shawn stop by with updates was probably one of the highlights of my day during the whole process. From start to finish, the project took about 7-8 weeks. The transformation was incredible. Since then, we've had friends over who can't stop raving about how great the yard looks. I even caught a couple of people sneaking photos!. Shawn, Laurin, and their team are talented, professional, and just all-around great people to work with. If you're thinking about upgrading your yard, don't waste your time with anyone else. You'll be so glad you went with them!
