I stopped going bc of him and they can balance tires. they lie to you try to upsell you things you do not need and on top of it cant balance a tire for shit. i. these chain tire shops hire mostly teens with not experience and dont train them properly. third time was a charm i went to kantners tire in shoemakersville 1 tire was so bad car wobbled. other 3 were bad also. and on top of that steep prices 4 hour wait to get 4 tires balanced even though i was there when they opened. trust me to there(kantner) you will be glad. better prices, very friendly service ,no upsell and if you are a women they wont tell you that you need things you dont. also they only do tires. they are experts in that. read more

Wasn't too happy. Went in for an estimate for a few parts. Came out as under 1900 in the end. Went home called around and got a quote for 1100 at another shop and ended up buying the parts myself for 400 bucks and throwing them on for 2 hours of my time. Customer service isn't thrilling either. Some staff there are amazing and some are just outright horrible and don't care. Had my vehicle in a couple months ago for an oil leak due to a damaged housing and they ended up telling me the transmission was leaking fluid... when it was something to do with the engine... wasn't thrilled then wasn't thrilled recently. Seems to be extremely overpriced. I get it some make profit not loss but still. 1800 and change for 400$ in parts and a quarter days work? Cmon now... be real. read more

Brought my 1995 F-150 in to get inspected. Guy behind the counter called me back in and explained my tires come out too far from the fenders. I told them thank you, I'll have my shop up north inspect it for me instead. The employee charged me for the inspection sticker and mentioned you can bring it back in once the tire concern is resolved. Best part is my cab mounts were in rough shape and my shop up north mentioned I need to take care of that (which I did) in order to pass inspection. CJ Tires was more concerned about the tires coming out too far from the fenders instead of bringing the cab mount concerns to my attention (which is a true safety concern. I will never return to CJ's Tire. They just want your $$$$. I will not be referring anyone to this tire shop going forward. read more

I bought a new set of four tires here. The front left tire nearly fell off while driving a few days later. I went to the nearest garage where I was charged $30 to tighten the nuts. Also there was only 19 pounds of air in the new tire. Front right tire also had to be torqued. When returned to CJ's with the bill from the other garage, they would not reimburse me. Also would not check the studs. Only said they need to check with higher ups. It's been over a week without resolution. read more

I traveled from NC and picked up a nail in my tire sidewall. It could not be repaired. After calling many tire places including dealers. I called CJ's and Adam not only found a tire but replaced it without issue. Awesome!! read more

CJ's sold tires to my Dad, Brother (we often address each other as Brother), son and daughter. Dave and Kathie are hours away now, but I don't bother to shop anywhere else; I call them ask what their records show (they last put on my wife's 06 Buick, for example) & ask them to hold 2. I no longer need to ask them to put the newest tires on the back; it's standard practice. I don't wait until tires fail inspection... the worst money saving idea ever; a smashed up car, or worse, my wife! isn't worth waiting another while to replace worn tires. I don't need to tell CJ's that we are loyal customers; the 25 screens full of orders speak for me. Find a low cost, reliable shop and stick with them. After waiting 2.5 hours for a oil change and tire rotation..... After they told me about 45 minutes... They didn't even tighten the lug nuts on my wheels! I was driving around for about a hour with 2 kids in the car before I realized the horribly loud noise I was hearing was the wheel about to fall off! The waiting room is small & dirty. The people they have working there are uneducated or under educated or just not trained on their job properly. I would've sue their pants off if my wheel would've came off while driving. read more

Love this place! Nice people who don't talk down to you. They know that we work on our own car a lot and they respect that. If they see anything wrong, they let me know and ask if I want to fix or if I want them to. Often, their price isn't much more than it would cost me for parts. Every year I call around to about ten different places to price tires. They are always the best price or close enough to not bother going anywhere else. When I had a hole in the exhaust system and their welder wasn't in, they directed me to another local shop that was able to fix it same day. Nothing but respect for a shop that will send you to the right people if they can't do it. Our tires are off-size (18" and z-rated) and, not only do they have them in stock, but they reliably have the best price. And they include installation in the price. There is nothing worse than being told over the phone that your tires are going to be one price, and then, when you get them, they're $100 more than they said because of 85 different "fees". CJ's doesn't do that. Also, CJ's corporate is very big on local charities. I called asking for a donation for a fundraiser and they sent a car care gift basket to my local CJ's for me to pick up the next day. Excellent company that believes in local ties. They are very busy so if you need service, schedule it. I don't think it's fair of the other reviewer on here to bust on them because they were busy. Suck it up, buttercup. read more

Not recommended! Trust me, the drive to Leesport is time well spent. Every time we have a service done (and we've given them several tries over the past year), there is a problem. Aside from the grease/oil left on our light colored upholstery every time we have an oil change done, they also take 2-3 times longer than what they tell you; be prepared to wait 1.5 hours for an oil change. We bought the road hazard warranty from CJ's (worth every penny); however when I took it in for a slow leak, they repaired the valve stem leak and either broke or just threw out the tire pressure monitoring system (~$200 to have replaced!). When we called them on it, they claimed there was no record of me coming in (no receipt was given), so it wasn't their responsibility to replace. On a happier note. I went down to CJ's in Leesport for a tire rotation a few weeks later. They asked about the TPMS light and I told them the story. CJ's in Leesport fixed the other cj's mistake for free, to keep CJ's in good standing! Bottom line: Use CJ's in Leesport if you want to use a C.J's, definitely not Schuylkill Haven/Orwigsburg. read more

Worst experience ever. I was treated as though I was an inconvenience. I had an appointment for 9:00 AM for inspection on my brand new vehicle. They pulled it in at 10:15. Lost 2 of my new lug-nuts, and scratched my wheel cover. Never again. Oh, and one of the mechanics kept looking at me instead of his work, while I stood outside talking on the phone. read more

OMG TERRIBLE SERVICE. Same thing as the other lady they snapped off a lug stem and then told me they didnt have it..."but dont worry its okay to drive around on 3 lug stems they told me, you can drive around like this forever" well apparently i couldnt cause my wife and kids heard a terrible noise in the car and pulled over to find that another lug stem had snapped off. the tire was so wobbly i could push it back and forth. i went back there and they told me they only ordered one lug nut cause they basically dont want my business. i called corporate to complain and the dude, Brian "with an I" Masters lol told me it isnt cost effective to keep lug nuts for my car around even thou they run a tire shop and peoples lives are endangered. He even insinuated that it was my mechanics fault who had done work the day before. Offered nothing but excuses and no extra incentives to try and keep my business Im on my 3rd trip now about 6 hrs of waiting room bull crap. I advise all of you to go to kens tire from now on or anywhere on earth BUT HERE. read more
