We ordered delivery here for the first time on Easter Sunday, and two medium pizzas and an order of pizza rolls set us back $50 with a tip. The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza was decent and I would give it about 3 stars, but the Chicken Alfredo Pizza it was not good at all, and the pizza rolls was not much either. Update: So I never made a complaint to the restaurant but they must follow these reviews because I got a $50 gift card from them in the mail unexpectedly. We used that gift card last night and we got boneless wings and they were okay, I got them plain so maybe they would have been better if I had chosen a sauce, they are small think the size of Chick Fil A nuggets. We got bread sticks and they were pretty good and the cheese sauce was not bad either. We opted to create our own pizza so we got a large with pepperoni and bacon, the lady told me on the phone that bacon was counted as two toppings because it is a premium, that is a first for me and I order a lot of pizza, we ordered a whole CJ's big club and I didn't care for that too much but the bacon was really good so I pulled the turkey and ham off and ate it with just the bacon which was good so I would order that again but as a BLT only. They do need to update their online delivery system because we live in one of about 15-20 brand new communities here in Plainfield. The delivery driver was really nice and professional. She even called me for directions because she was unable to find our place. The thin crust pizza we got was really good. Next time we will do extra cheese. So my new take on this place is: Pizza 4 stars Boneless wings 1 star Bread Sticks 3 stars Cheese sauce 3.5 stars Big club sandwich 2 stars ( ham and turkey just tasted cheap) Delivery website 1 star ( I had to call and wait on hold to place my order) The website needs to be updated to accept gift cards as well. read more

Yummy! We had the special which came with two toppings and breadsticks. They were willing to do half and half for us since my husband doesn't have good taste in pizza hehe. On my half, I had mushrooms and pineapple. The mushrooms were fresh and not canned which was pretty great. I liked the sauce. Our breadsticks came with a spicy cheese and a garlic sauce. My only complaint was that the garlic sauce needed to be a lot more garlicy. I like to also like to dip my pizza in the garlic sauce and just found it to be lacking. I ordered a Greek pizza minus olives add shrimp. There's were 5 micro shrimp and NO feta despite being listed as a topping. I have and want to continue to support local Businesses, but when I add a 15-20% tip to a mid day order along with very specific food order, it's more than a little discouraging to stick there when so many other local businesses are getting it right. 5 stars for their thin crust pizza-regular crust I prefer less and didn't care as much but may just reflect my preference. Their taco pizza is our favorite so far! They can get busy on weekends so best to call ahead for pickup or delivery. Staff always friendly. They have more than pizza but we haven't tried it yet! What a joke if service means anything to you. Went for a carry out order Friday Dec 4. Email said be there at 6:17 for my order. Finally received it at 6:47 and as you can guess they forgot half the order. I proceeded inside where they did get me what they missed, but not much acknowledgement of the late service and missing food. I'll be honest and not picky here. The pizza dough was bland and lacked flavor (seemed like they forgot salt). The cheese also tasted a bit old. The wings were very tender but the breading tasted and smelled rancid (never smelt something like that). These guys have very good reviews, but I'm not sure why. read more

I had cj's pizza today for the first time when my uncle brought it over. It was very good and I would recommend to anyone in the plainfield area not wanting a chain pizza. We had a thin crust mushroom and sausage large with breadsticks and wings. The cheese for the breadsticks does have a little kick to it so if you like a little spice you will love the cheese. I really like their pizza and salad but their customer service is lacking. The workers are great, but they often stop taking orders before their posted closing time. I can understand stopping orders 15 minutes before, but on NYE I called at 8:45 pm and was told they were no longer taking orders and they weren't closing until 10:00 pm! There have been several other times when I've called 30 minutes before closing and they wouldn't take my order. It takes 10-15 minutes to make a pizza! I contacted the owner and told him that they should put something on their website to the effect that "our closing time is 10:00 pm but we stop taking orders at XXX" but apparently they have enough business that they don't need to be considerate of their customers. If they posted a notice on their website & Facebook, I would have no problems with them not taking my order before closing. No other carry out restaurant that we go to has done this and most restaurant employees understand that they may have to work 15 minutes or so past closing time! That's the nature of the business! So, if you want to order from CJ's, make sure you allow at LEAST an hour before closing or you are out of luck! read more

I was in town on business. I got to my hotel around 9:30 pm and was starving. I looked up pizza so I could hopefully get something delivered. This is a local place and it got great reviews, both things I like to look for. They closed at 10, but the lady still kindly took my order and said it would be there in about 37 min. They were there a few min early and the driver was very nice and polite, even though it was past closing time. I got the Parmesan bread sticks and a sausage pizza. Both were delicious. Great food, especially like the ground up sausage (reminds of Pizza King sausage). The hot subs are tasty also, I have tried the Italian and Stromboli and they are a meal in themselves.
