Awful! It was good when they first opened up. The machines are old, the vacuums don't really work, the cleaning guys rush you out and don't really clean. The place smells moldy and leaves your car smelly, dirtier than before. They will push you for a monthly membership but their service or value is not worth the time at all. I'm not surprised that the place is empty on the weekends. The guys know they won't be getting any tips because they suck. Do not recommend! read more

Be careful when you use CJ'S car wash on busy days. They will pack the cars so closely together that any delay in exiting the wash could result in your car either hitting the one in front of you or getting hit from behind. This is what happened to me on 3/18/23. For whatever reason a car a few cars ahead did not exit, all the while the rollers beneath us were still pushing the cars forward. The car in front of me hit the brakes and honked his horn, I hit my brakes and honked as well so that I would not hit the car in front of me. They then stopped the line. When the wash started up again, there was another delay and the car in front of me stopped again while I was being pushed towards it. I too stopped and honked again, this time I was hit by the car behind. They stopped the wash again. After I exited, I immediately asked for the manager. Do you know what this idiot said? He didn't offer an apology, he asked where the other car was and that I needed to take it up with them. By the time the manager got to my car the other person had left. I explained to him that he is running the wash line, he is spacing out the cars, and that he is responsible for what happens at his business. Instead, he took a picture of the sticker on my car (I was a monthly customer) and said he would cancel my account, as if he was the one that was wronged. This could have a been handled better had he simply offered an apology, a free month of service, an air freshener, something. Something other than this is not my fault. Needless to say, I will not be going back to CJ'S car wash again. I value my car, I work hard for my money and make sure I take care of my possessions. It's been almost a year since I made the great decision and got a membership for unlimited car washes! My car always looks clean inside and out. I really like the fact that I vacuum my own car because I'm very OCD about making sure it's extremely clean. They have different options for their memberships which it explains what each offers, but you can also pay as you go and their prices are pretty reasonable. You can also upgrade or downgrade the membership or cancel at anytime which I really like that flexibility. Their hours are great and I believe they have another location but I haven't been there yet since this one is super close to me. The workers are very nice and always try to make sure your car is good to go! read more

This place is a SCAM. I originally went in for a one time car wash, during which I was offered and told that I'm getting free upgrade to unlimited car-wash for a month. However, without notifying or displaying clearly that this is a subscription, CJ's Express Car Wash has been charging my credit card month over month without notifying. Scratched My Rims!!! I live in town and have brought my suv here several times in the past and never had a problem. I decided to bring my Lexus coupe to this car wash for the first time today (Saturday, Feb. 15 at 11:35am) to this car wash. Once I went through the wash, had tipped the workers outside a few dollars just for dealing with the cold temperatures today. All was good, until I arrived back home that day and noticed that my two driver side rims had scratches on each of the 5 spokes. The clear coat on my rims were scratched deep enough that I could feel them and visually see them. It was obvious that the guide rail that the car wash system uses for the driver side scratched my rims. Apparently the guide rail isn't designed for lower profile tires, only higher sidewalls such those found on suv's. By the time I drove back to the car wash, they were closed. I have photos of the damaged rims. I called a reputable wheel repair business and was quoted $175 per each rim to repair! I know several others who go to this car wash, but after this incident happening to me, I doubt they'll want to go back. Safe to say I won't be going back to this car wash and will stick the touchless car wash in Hackensack, which I highly recommend! read more

Free self service vacuums, no interior service, very mediocre exterior wash. A very basic exterior wash starts at $7, extra for tire shine, wax, etc. They also offer unlimited monthly passes starting at $24.99. In my experience, washes are below average. They don't get everything and the hand drying is terrible. On my last go here, I was surprise to find that they weren't able to even remove the bird poop from my sunroof. I had to point it out to the guys drying my car. They never dry your car completely and that leaves lots of water streaks. read more

I adore this car wash. The staff are all super friendly and actually get to know you. The prices are reasonable, I get the monthly $32 Lava Shield and I love it. My car always comes out clean and shiny. If you're not interested in the Lava Shield they have less expensive options available. Another factor that makes me love this place is the free vacuums before the wash. They work very well and sometimes the line piles up for the vacuums. For as busy as they are, they do a great job at drying your car at the end and even go the extra mile if there is something stuck on your car that the wash didn't get. I love this place and the staff are very friendly and remember your face. 100% recommended!!! read more

Pros: Convenient car wash place that offers free vacuum. No need to go down if you only need wash. Different packages to choose from. Staff and facilty are pretty good as well. Cons: Feel like doesn't get enough rinse since you still see bubbles of soap at the end. Can't really tell from the look of the tire if "tire black" is applied (when purchased). There's obvious "bugs/tars" on hood and bumper and "dirt" On wheels that's left. I completely understand this is express car wash but with experience in similar car wash places for similar price I'm pretty sure this could be improved. I was just through there (12/7/2019), it was busy so they had the conveyer moving fast. car is never really in any station to get a good job done. As I was exiting the wash my windshield had soap running down it. overall car is cleaner but not clean. I also have marks and some black residue up and down the passenger side of the car. I didn't bring it up because there is no way to get back to the front of the line and I know what it's like complaining about something like this, at best i'll get my $17 dollars back but my car is still damaged and dirty, dirtier in some places. I will not be returning to this car wash. I would give no stars if that was possible here. read more

Took my car here Sunday and took advantage of the small line and , the guy working the line says Exterior only...I don't see any signs anywhere that says "Exterior washes only"...so I'm about to pull out and of course 2 -3 cars pull in behind me..so now I'm stuck...and since I was stuck in the line , I went for the $7.00 wash...and it sucked. I came here with my friend two months ago around 4:35pm. We saw the sign for free vacuums so we decided to give it a try (we had just purchased the vehicle). We bought the $9 car wash to have the exterior of the car cleaned. The wash was quick so upon completion we looped back around to the vacuums and parked the car. We started vacuuming and after we got down with just the driver's side mat, all the vacuums shut off (deliberately). Us and a few other customers kept looking at one another trying to understand the situation. I thought the power had gone out. It became apparent that one of the workers had cut the vacuums off. Mind you it was almost 4:50pm (still more than 10 minutes from closing). We weren't even close to being done vacuuming. Nobody warned us when paid for the carwash that vacuums would be cut off soon. It isn't even written or posted anywhere. When we asked one of the employees, he completely ignored us. They're all nice when it comes to taking your money, but couldn't care less once it's in their pocket. I would have understood if we were a few minutes past 5pm, but there was more than 10 minutes remaining which was more than enough time for us to finish up. Shame on this business. The exterior was decent though, hence the two stars. read more

Cool car wash, my mom USED to go here all the time, until I went and theyre machine knocked 2 pieces off of my 2003 Audi RS6 (1200 made in USA for one year only, any part requires being shipped from Germany directly as Audi Dealerships dont stock its body parts anymore, remember this). I ate next door at the Johnny and Hanges, and looked my car over before going into the wash, deciding, hey, I NEVER used a carwash besides my 2 hands, so let me use this place I go, 10$ wash, cool staff. Get home and notice that 2 pieces are missing form my front bumper, reminding me why I dont use car washes. I called up and was instantly met with a run around of "Was it aftermarket installed?" by the person ont he phone, I say no and go back. They found ONE of my pieces, but not the other. I get told theyll keep looking. Fast forward one week later, they still havent found the part, and ive called everyday. Two weeks later, I am told I now have to fill out an ACCIDENT report if i want my part to be taken care of. But, I DIDNT HAVE TO FILL ONE OUT WHEN THEY FOUND MY OTHER PART?! YOU CANT JUST ADMIT FAULT AND PAY ME THE 130$ MY PART WILL COST?! So, rather then sit and wait for them to review footage (really, they were nice when they gave me the run around for 2 weeks, but ive had it at this point) and buckled down and bought the 130$ part i need now, because the shipping from germany takes almost a month. By the time they would of gotten me the money to get my part, we would of been looking for easter eggs outside as well. So no, I did NOT fill out an accident report because I felt I was being given the run around over and over again before i signed any piece of paper affiliated with them, and HOPEFULLY this yelp review gets them to realize how upsurd it is to damage a persons car, and force them to go through so many measures of being reimbursed Especially when legally, ANY car wash that puts your vechile into a device that makes it move without you controlling it, is ALWAYS at fault. But hey, its all good, I never liked going to car washes, so they didnt lose me as a customer, but they did lose my mother who really did love the place. My car windshield was broken in the wash... the assistant manager told me it was broke when I came in and they were washing cars all day and it was impossible , I asked to speak to the owner and he was not their , I asked to check the cameras to see my windshield was NOT broken when I arrived and they could not do that ... I was told the owner never goes to his business except to do investigations such as this .. well it's been a week I have called , sent emails and even went there and no response at all from the owner ... My family and I have been going to this car wash for a long time and now we all go down the road to another car wash ...had the owner contacted me to rectify this situation things could have been different ... now I forced to go a step further with this ...thumbs down for costumer service. read more

They are usually quick as expected from a machine car wash. They do a 20/20 job on drying the car. 20 feet away/ 20 miles an hour it looks okay. I did a monthly plan with them for about 2 months. I didn't mind going back for a quick wash when my car looked a little dirty (about 2 days with a black SUV). I noticed my paint was getting progressively more and more scratched. Spent a day and a half correcting the paint. Won't go back with a car whose paint I care about. Free Vacuums though! read more

This is in the old Circle car Wash location. It's part of the same group that owns Big Daddy Car Wash in North Bergen. Everything looks to be new and top notch and right now they are running a terrific special, regular wash for $1! The vacuums are also FREE and they do the towel drying at the end of the wash. The staff is so friendly and completely professional. This is clearly a premier car wash. Not only will I be back for more washes, I plan on getting my car detailed here too. One thing to note, the location is a bit tricky since they are doing construction at the intersection, just be patient and look for the sign that points out the entrance and follow the arrows. In Feb of 2019 my daughter got her car washed at this location, The man kept asking her to sign up for the monthly service, she refused 3 times( my other employee was with her) She said she just wanted the car washed today. She paid using our business credit card and left. She decided not to go back to this place because the guy really annoyed her with his persistence. Flash forward to March 2020 I notice a car wash charge on my card, no vehicles were on the road on that date because of Covid. I start checking back and found out my card was being charged over $21.27 every month since that February 2019 date. Also the charges went up to $23.40 per month in December 2019. I notified the car wash in April, when it opened of these charges and was told the main office would have to deal with it. Meanwhile more charges are going on my card, The charges finally stopped on June 8 2020. I had sent 3 emails to the main office by then. the main office has done nothing, the only help I received was from the manager of the Fair Lawn Branch. I finally got reimbursed for 6 transactions for $131.88 but they still owe me for 10 more false charges equaling $223.35 from the fraudulent charges. When I spoke to them in person, they employee just started laughing and told me to fill out a return form with my personal information and was told the owner would call me back. It's been a week. Decided to just call American Express and dispute all the charges. Awesome! This review Is on behalf the free vacuum. Overall, the vacuum was great. Most gas stations or car washes require you to pay like $1 for 5 minutes. That really pushes you and feels like the world is going to end in like 5 mins and you can't get through all the areas that much. This really kills the deal. One thing is, once you are finished, it feels like you "have" to go through the car wash which is the exit. read more

I always come to CJ's car wash. It's such a good freaking deal it's unbelievable. For $20 a month I can wash my car as often as I want ,get it waxed and get Tire treatment. that will cost me at least $10 each time. I go at least once a week for the last couple of months it is been the easiest and most efficient way to keep my car clean. and you can't be free vacuums. maybe the guys don't drive your car off the greatest but just knowing you're coming back tomorrow anyway for another car wash make sure I dont care about it read more

This place was absolutely terrible. I Paid for the top wash and when I came out of the wash I sat waiting for 10 minutes without anyone drying or starting the interior of my car. They had two other cars being worked on by 1 employee each then two employees standing in the corner doing absolutely nothing. I wound up leaving without them drying or doing my interior. Unfortunately I already tipped them prior to the horrible service. So at the end of the day they got my $30 for doing nothing and I will ensure that I tell everyone I know to avoid this car wash at all cost. Terrible service! read more

I was shopping at Costco on a Saturday and wanted to get my car washed quickly without having to wait long. I looked on Yelp and noticed there was one right down the street. I noticed a few bad reviews but when I arrived I was very I'm pressed with the place. I was able to drive in and was out in 5 minutes. The wash specials and plans were great values. I got the $9 wash, I might think about getting one of their unlimited monthly plans starting at $14.99. I don't love to close by this location, but I will stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

When the place first opened, I did a basic wash with the car and I noticed how clean it was (probably cause it was new). So I did the sucker thing and got the monthly top-end package, and let's just say that it was really well worth the money. I bring my car there minimum once a week, and my car is spotless. Totally think this place is better than any of the other washes I've tried in the area which includes other car washes in Teterboro, Pal Park, Fort Lee, Hackensack, Maywood, Hasbrouck Heights, Saddle Brook, Edgewater, Tenafly, Fairview, and North Bergen. The free vaccuum makes this place a plus too, cause I like to clean myself so I can get all the nooks and crannies. The Latino guy that greets you is also a pleasure. My kids love the guy. He's always smiling, greets you with enthusiasm, and the people that dry your car off after the wash are also great. hard workers too. Maybe it's because i get the top end package that the guys do a better job then some of the other stuff I read below. But I love this place and recommended to many, and they all signed up for the monthly as well, and agree with me that this place does a fabulous job. This place has become the ABSOLUTE worst since it changed ownership. I'd been coming here for several years, although not my primary spot for a wash, and always had a great experience. THEN THE NEW OWNERSHIP TOOK OVER. I recently went it and I noticed that they had 3 tiers of washes. I chose the highest level, at $20. The "manager" (a short, pudgy Mexican dressed as a cowboy with no manners) snatched the $20 bill from my hand, without saying a word, did not offer or give me a receipt, and motioned me through the wash, as I sat in the car (previously, they would ask you to get out and you could go into the store to purchase add-ons or food, etc.). After less than 2 minutes in the wash, I was directed to the guys drying the car, who spent less than another 2 minutes wiping down my car. Then they told me that I can go. I asked "WHAT ABOUT THE INTERIOR? SURELY YOU'RE GOING TO VACUUM OR DO SOMETHING?" And they said no, they don't clean the interior. So I asked for the manager. The same idiot from before shows up and tells me that the $20 is just for the wash and wax (I'm not sure what the lower level washes would have gotten me), and they don't clean the interior of the car. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR WASH I'VE EVER BEEN TO WHERE, FOR $20, THEY DON'T CLEAN THE INTERIOR. Not to mention that the entire "wash" was less than 4 minutes (under the old owners, they would clean the interior and give the car a nice hand clean, taking 10+ minutes to make sure the care was spotless). The also didn't have a working store; it was just empty and with closed out windows. I asked to speak to the owner, and the manager grinned and said the owner doesn't come around. I then asked him for my receipt (so I can come another time to talk to/look for the owner), and the manager refused to give me one!!!! After a heated exchange, I realized that I was just wasting my time. SO I left $20 less, with a crappy wash, and a dirty car interior. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. A TOTAL RIPOFF. THE NEW OWNERS ARE SCAM ARTISTS. AND I'M CONVINCED THAT THEY HAVE ILLEGAL ALIENS WORKING AT THE PLACE (after speaking to the guy drying my car, and also a friend who speaks Spanish talking to them about this).
