When I first started at her Marin Spanish School I knew very little Spanish, practically, nothing. Homeschooling allowed Emilie and I the flexibility to create our own curriculum with fun activities and unique projects! Her dedication and passion about the language is what made the whole experience so wonderful. In nine months she was able to teach me so much and so well, I got qualified to go in to Spanish 3 in the private school I got accepted to! She is so thorough, and organized, and she truly cares about her students' progress. Her passion and enthusiasm for the Spanish culture got me so eager to learn. Learning about the "Day of the Dead" and Spanish culture every lesson was so much fun! I was looking forward to her classes every week. She is such an inspiration to me. Best teacher!

I brought my daughter to LearningRx because she was struggling with reading and spelling. After going through the program with her trainer Amanda, she is now confident, and willing to work through frustrations. From the moment I spoke with Sean, I knew I was in good hands. Sean is incredibly caring and present, a really good listener, and very knowledgeable. Both my daughters got assigned a tutor to help with their executive functioning challenges. Each tutor was matched perfectly and my daughters really enjoyed working with them. My youngest daughter had almost daily meetings and check-ins and her tutor went to great lengths to find ways to help with homework, often texting late in the evening or on the weekend to follow up and make sure my kid had turned in her assignments on time. She had a way to be firm yet kind and my kid, who generally resents getting help or being told what to do, completely accepted her suggestions and support. It is safe to say that my daughter would never have finished her freshman year if it wasn't for EF. My oldest daughter developed a beautiful relationship with her tutor who helped her not only with course content but with everything from researching gap year programs, enrolling in community college, to making a life budget and staying on top of various assignments and appointments. I still go to William to get help with my homework and test reviews. They are incredibly kind here, and accommodating. I like the decor of the place (there are llama's everywhere...and who doesn't love llama's?!). They tutor in math, science, and other subjects. The building is really easy to find, as it is a bright pink building right across from the Phoenix Theater! They have their own parking lot next to the bank, so you don't need to struggle to find parking (as they are downtown Petaluma). The price for a tutoring session is $45, but you can get package deals that lower the price of the session when you buy the package deal. Amathoasis has many students who come in for tutoring, so you definitely need to book way ahead of time. They are extremely busy!
