February 2022 Interstate Northeast answered my insurance's and my roadside assistance call that my…read morecar was stuck in ice in street parking outside my apartment. The driver was young, probably in his 20's. He dinged my car (I paid for it to be fixed and a rental which cost $1100). I watched the driver hit my car as I stood and watched. I said, "You hit me." He said, "I thought you were spotting me." He immediately got out and took pictures of the damage and asked me if it was already there. Within days, I learned from my insurance company that the driver and Interstate Northeast were saying that the damage was preexisting. My insurance could not investigate because the damage cost was below my deductible. I have proof of when he arrived with the automatic text. The driver is saying the photo was taken before the work began. If one were to dissect the photo evidence, they would see the timestamp is 40 minutes after the time of arrival. Interstate Northeast does not care to help me.
