I put off obtaining whole life and long-term health insurance because I was completely overwhelmed with the choices. My Will and Trust attorney recommended Carly, so I called her. Carly simplified all the complex insurance jargon, helping me understand all the options. I can't say I loved every moment of the process, but it was much less painful than I anticipated! Carly at CJB has been simply wonderful to work with, as we were embarking on a journey to protect our future. She is unique in that she really takes time to understand needs and worked primarily to educate us lame folk on the different paths, options and scenarios serving as a guide. I never once felt that she wanted us to buy a policy, which I think is always commendable. It was a natural outcome based on the information and protection we wanted. So I HIGHLY recommend, if only Yelp had more than 5 stars. read more

Carly was incredibly helpful for us in both understanding our options and shopping for life insurance policies. Her communication was great-- we never felt hurried or pressured, and she was available to answer questions and talk through how to approach our goals. We first worked with her after the birth of our first child, and were happy repeat clients again this year after our second was born. Strongly recommend! read more

Carly offered us terrific advice and guided us to the best possible longterm care insurance plan. Finding LTCI is daunting at best. It's a huge, scary financial commitment, but Carly helped us feel safe and empowered at every step. We never felt any pressure or impatience. Carly was steady, calm and caring throughout the process. As a professional in the service industry myself (residential real estate) I know what it takes and I'm inspired by Carly's thoroughly professional yet heartful demeanor. Don't hesitate to work with her. read more

Carly was a perfect seasoned professional! She was so sharp and skillful in analyzing the situation; and most important kind to my 80 year mother and I when explaining policies, plans and recommendations. I will recommend her to others! -AK Horn read more

Was happy enough to take the commission when we took the insurance policy out. But has been absolutely horrendous to work with to get paperwork updated with Trust changes. Insisting I pay the renewal 'if the insurance is important to me', but not doing anything with the company she works with to get this insurance to get paperwork updated accurately! I would not recommend her for any post sale customer service - utterly HORRIBLE. read more

Great customer service, Carly is very pleasant, knowledgeable. Can't ask a better person to navigate the nuances of insurance. The last thing on most people's minds read more

If you want to get educated about Long-Term Care Insurance (and probably should), I recommend contacting the independent broker, Carly Ebenstein, at cjbins.com. Recently, I came to Carly with information I had received from another insurance agent. Carly is an educator and brought up many salient points and benefits that the initial planner had not included in their plan. For example, ShareCare is a benefit that allows spouses/partners to inherit any balance when one person passes. I could write more, but everyone's situation is different. Do yourself and your family a favor and contact Carly to learn more about your options for Long-Term Care Insurance. read more

Getting life insurance squared away is not at the top of my "fun things to do" list, but was on my "get my life together" list. Carly made it easy, if not fun, by breaking it down in a way I could grasp easily. I found her knowledgeable, helpful, and patient during the process, and responsive for those inevitable follow-up questions. read more

As our life situation changed we decided it was time to consider life insurance. Seemed like an important, consequential, daunting task full of unknowns. Carly helped us understand the process, set realistic expectations, and guided us to the best options given our circumstance. She did all this while working around our busy schedules and we enjoyed our time working with her. We ultimately ended up with insurance policies in place that we're happy with, and we feel settled and at ease with the outcome. To come out of such an important process and feel that we have done the right thing is deeply satisfying and we owe this entirely to Carly. We highly recommend her for her knowledge, charisma, and professionalism. read more

Carly has helped many of my estate planning clients. She knows how to work with clients who have received a diagnosis, who live part-time overseas and whose insurance needs range from "vanilla" to complex. Carly is smart, knowledgable, honest, and caring. I called her to ask about Long Term Care Insurance, and she spent a great deal of time helping me review my options without putting ANY pressure on me. Once I made the purchase, she reminded me that I could review the policy and reverse it within 30-days if I changed my mind.I also looked at Disability Insurance since I'm self-employed, but we determined that those policies didn't really fit my needs. It's so nice to work with an ethical agent who has her clients' best interests in mind. read more

Carly is insanely good at what she does. I signed up for a life insurance policy through a different agent and it was hell. The process took months and was so time-consuming - I spent hours on the phone confirming the same information over and over. It made no sense but i figured that was just how life insurance worked. My husband was smarter than I was and went through Carly. The process has been a breeze. She answers questions quickly and thoroughly, offers helpful advice, and doesn't take up more of our time than is absolutely necessary. She completed our application within weeks and got him surprisingly low rates. She's awesome. read more

Carly has been a godsend for me and my husband. We were not looking forward to dealing with finding the right life insurance policies, although we are responsible people who have good policies in place since our 20s. We have worked with Carly over the past 15 years to modify and secure appropriate life insurance policies and will soon make another adjustment. The peace of mind is worth it to us and Carly makes this otherwise 'chore' a pleasant and thoughtful experience. She is very thorough in exploring options and really listens, then advises in a comprehensive and well-informed way that set us at ease immediately. You are in good hands with Carly (yeah, we know, that's already been taken!). read more

Carly is wonderful! We'd been planning on doing life insurance through the same company we use for homeowner's insurance. But we had a couple weird factors (like 2 moving violations in the past couple years for me) and decided to shop around a bit. Carly was able to find us a super competitive rate (WAY less than the quote from our other insurance provider). She was understanding, responsive, and helpful through the whole process. Really glad we found her! read more

Unlike other insurance agents I've worked with, she is not out to make a quick buck, but has a long term view of each potential client. She has become a trusted advisor to my family, and we have recommended her to friends who have also been very happy with the level of service she provides. She has helped us with both Life Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance. We feel so fortunate to have found her! read more
