This place might be the most racist place in Huntsville Alabama. The dress code is understandable…read moreif it was a place of class, but it is not it is full of underdressed security guards that think they are better than God himself. Let me start with the first week I tried to get inside. I was wearing red and gray SB Nike Dunks(picture below). The security guard said to me that the shoes had exotic colors and I couldn't get them. When a white woman in an all-red sweater walked in right passed security I asked if is red an exotic color or if is it just an exotic color for black men. He proceeded to say the dress code only applied to men. I knew then that their racism was in full effect. I came back a few weeks later and made sure my dress was up to code to these ridiculous standards. The same security guard stopped me and said my JORDAN 11 "cool greys" (pictured below) were patent leather and they were too shiny. I debated with him for a while and asked for his manager. The guard flagged down the police as if I was stealing or robbing him because I asked him to speak to someone above him. He also stated, "how dare you tell me what I can do". This statement made it seem like he was in a hierarchy and I was less than them. Jim Crow has been abolished for years now but places like this still enforce some of the same rules. They need to be shut down and bought out by people who want to have a good time and want business from all shades sizes and colors. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RACIST SLEEZY PLACE.

I was buying some stuff at Harbor Freight (don't ask) and I decided to check out a place I could get an Ultra and relax. I asked the kid at the register and he said that they have the Cat&Mouse Club (he pointed to ) over there. I drove over and went it. It is a pretty cool place! It is kind of a mix of old school and modern dive. I sat in the 70's style chairs at the bar (so comfortable for a bigger frame I might add) and look up to see the smiling face of Bev, who took my order. She struck up a short conversation and i immediately felt like this was my neighborhood bar. The people next to me started in on the conversation and before you knew it, we were all laughing and talking about nothing. I stayed through two shifts and met Skeeterr (bartender) and a host of new people. Hey this bar has been here since 1969, so they know how to treat people. It is a vibe. I'd honestly recommend pre-gaming before you go, because the cover charge is usually around $25 just to get in. It is still fun, though. The place has three different rooms -- a club-style dance room with smoke and flashing lights, a bar area, and an upstairs dance floor with a DJ -- so you can kind of pick your vibe for the night. The bartenders are okay, but they can be a little rude sometimes, which is a downside. Also, the floors are slippery asf most nights, so watch your step. Overall, Rounders can be a good time if you go with the right group and know what you're getting into. Fun vibes, but definitely pricey.

I must say for a nightclub it is impressive for Chattanooga. They have to areas outdoors on the left-hand side with a fire pit and seating and a few tables. You can also sit outside on the right-hand side but no fire pit. This review is based on me just touring the place over a few hours and mostly sitting outside watching people come in. They do serve beer and mixed drinks and they also serve food, which I did not partake. Oh yea, draft beer (+1). I also had the chance to chat with Randy, the manager, and I appreciate his openness. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and you could tell he was on top of everything there. Great people person. When you arrive, women can expect to get "wanded" and their purses checked and the men will also be frisked, I assume for weapons. As with most of these types of nightclubs, it seems to get busy around 10 o'clock at night and I was told that many nights they reach capacity by 11 o'clock and there is a line to get in, sometimes around the block so may want to get there early. As people leave, they allow others to enter, because I think they have a maximum occupancy of about 800. Security seems to be pretty tight which I can understand due to the clientele being younger for the most part have a lot of alcohol flowing. I had the chance to meet and talk to some of the security personnel and they were outgoing and friendly, but rest assured, they are there to ensure everyone has a good time and no one is bothered and if you were to get out of hand, it is obvious they know what to do. The club is three levels with the bottom level still being developed and it has pool tables, dartboards and when finished in a couple of weeks will be quite a neat hangout. The middle level (entrance) has lots of tables and bars and appears to be more of a live band (country) and maybe a little older crowd. This seems to be the better place to eat. Again, it was somewhere I would hang out. The upper level is probably a "younger" crowd and it is the loud dance music (I use the term music lightly) where it has a constant beat so dancers and bounce up and down . Music s somewhat crude at times and there is a lot of bumping and grinding going on. You can hardly move up there when it is crowded and It seem to be very crowded early on this level . Also, I was told it can get hot (temperature wise). Word of caution, especially to the younger crowd, be sure you don't drink and drive because first of all not a safe or smart thing to do but secondly, there are police cars just sitting there watching the place. I left on my motorcycle around 1 AM and saw three just sitting there. I am not a night owl and too old for the 3 AM checkout. I no longer get home when people are getting up. For what it is, it is a pretty neat place for Chattanooga and you would think you were downtown NYC or Atlanta. I give it a 5 and it has something for everyone. If I got something wrong here, just drop me a note.

Same ghost town energy, same awkward silence, same sad disco lights spinning over an empty dance floor like they're trying to party on their own. It's honestly wild. This place could be fun. They've got a decent setup: a full bar, big speakers, cool lighting. But none of it matters when it feels like you're crashing a party that never actually started. Don't get me wrong, I love Latin music. But when the club only plays Latin tracks (and super niche ones at that), you're kinda boxing out anyone who doesn't speak Spanish or vibe with that specific scene. Huntsville, Alabama is not LA or Miami where there is much a larger Latin music scene. Perhaps If they mixed it up, threw in some hip-hop, EDM, and more mainstream Latin hits, they might actually get a crowd in here. Right now, it's just painfully awkward. I sat around for 15 minutes, sipped one drink out of obligation, and left. Again. Bottom line: Not worth the cover, the Uber, or the weird eye contact with the one other person there trying to pretend it's normal. This place needs a serious rebrand or better promo before I ever think about swinging by again
