    Complimentary doggie poo bags

Mood - outdoors with Hazel Upon arriving there is no formal parking area. So we parked across the street in the dirt lot. I guess when in "Rome " There are 2 different areas. One for dogs under 25lbs and the other side for the larger dogs. Both areas were very clean. Inside of the runs there are complimentary doggie poo bags, and pooper scoopers. This was refreshing to see. The grounds on both sides were in nice condition. There are benches for the fur parents to sit on. There is a water fountain with the fountain below for the fur babies. However no water was coming out. Maybe this is due to it not being summer yet. Would def recommend- not a big park, very intimate. Hazel was happy. Location is Cactus/ Jones- parking in dirt lot.

Visiting Las Vegas with my dog we like to frequent dog parks. Today we went to CJ dog park and sadly the entire park was infested with dog thesis. I take pride in my dog parks so I did what any responsible person would do I grabbed a bag and started picking up everyone else's dogs mess. Having a dog park is a privilege and the community should take better care of it. Don't have a dog if you can't take care of it properly.

I love this dog park so much. Us south westerners aren't blessed with a lot of dog parks so I have to drive a bit out of the way for this one, but it's worth it. This dog park is huge so if your dog is a bit antisocial as mine is, there's a lot of room for he or she to just run around on their own and play fetch. It's also in a very nice neighborhood. The park is typically clean and everyone picks up after themselves. They offer bags and a water fountain and bowl. There's a big and little dog park which I appreciate. We usually love the people and the dogs who are here. I only take off a spot because of the parking situation. There's really no where to park except a sketchy dirt lot across the street.

... it's 10am on a Tuesday. WHY IS THIS PADLOCKED?

why is only the baby dog park area open? i hyped my boy up... we got here and now i cant throw balls for him to fetch in this small area!

Wow, what a gem! The park is much larger than it looks when you drive by. The park is maintained well, and has plenty of grass and trees for shade. There are only 2 not so great things to say. 1. No parking. You have to park across the street in the dirt field. 2. The water fountain needs help. The water in it was black. Made sure my pup stayed clear of it.

Out here visiting Las Vegas for the weekend with my family and our dog. Obviously the weather out here is hot so walking him around this concrete is crazy. This park has grass, and is separated into three different sections according to their size. If your dog is small and is friendly to be inside the big dog area then you can take it at your own risk. It's very clean here and the people here are nice. Parking is literally across the street in the rocky area by the street light. I'll be back here every time I'm in town

I recently moved into the area and after plenty of walks around the neighborhood, I decided to let the doggies do some running around. The park is divided into smaller dog area and larger dog area which is always a good thing. There are plenty of trees and benches for the humans to relax while the doggies play. The grass was very green considering all the wear and tear it gets daily. The sign says the park is open from 6am-6pm that is probably why the park doesn't have lighting. Just be careful when you cross Cactus to get the park it can be a busy intersection at peak hours.

I like this fenced off dog park. Only issue is parking. You really just have to park in the dirt but other than that it's a good park. The dogs have plenty of space to run around

My pooch doesn't seem to mind. Wish the grass was a little greener. But I mean, she's a dog and easily amused. She pooped and I'm happy.

Nice park for dogs. Good place for them to sniff around and run if they like. Parking isn't so great but overall fine.

It makes a big difference when you have little ones or wanderers and want a bit more peace of mind. There are options for both bucket swings and regular swings, so it works well for different ages. The splash pad area is pretty spacious and gives kids plenty of room to run around, although it's not enclosed. There are quite a few trees around the park but they aren't really positioned in a way that provides much shade where you'd actually want to sit/can sit comfortably. The women's bathroom had multiple stalls, which was nice, but there was no changing table or hand soap in the bathroom. The bathrooms just gave a very worn look/feel to it though. Also not a big fan that they were a bit far from the playground and right in front of the parking lot. It gave me a bad feeling. I also saw there's a disc golf course here, if anyone is wondering (pics provided). The biggest issue for me was the amount of trash scattered around. There was everything from random litter to cigarette butts in common areas, which took away from the overall experience. With better maintenance, I feel like this park can be a favorite in the future.

Bring hand sanitizer!

It looks as though the park has the typical/normal wear and tear of any park that's been around for years in this harsh desert climate. With that being said it's still a pretty good park. They have restrooms, water fountains, two full tennis courts, a basketball court, Big and little kid playground areas, swing sets, a large properly maintenance grass field where lots of kids have been known to practice soccer in. They also have a fitness area as well as a jogging path that I've had the pleasure of using to burn off those pesky calories. Lastly, they have one gazebo area as well as a frequently visited ice cream truck. Hence the reason to burn off those calories, lol.

The park features a large green space, some charcoal grills and tables, a playground, basket ball court, and some exercise equipment. You can walk the trail behind the park, which connects to different parks- the closest being Majestic Bluff Park, I believe. Just a note that this park is by a loud car wash and a busy street, so just be mindful of that when visiting.
