He was always there to answer every question and someone from the team was always able to walk me through every process and give great design and construction advice. They were incredibly fast, while keeping it clean. Any minor hiccup was addressed quickly and smoothly, and most importantly on budget. He was always on time and continuation of excellent works during the project. There was no any negatives for me to think of other than a lots of positive to mention. I was totally happy that he completed the project in timely manner and very satisfaction. His price is very competitive with market price and I believe a better price for better work performance. I strongly recommend anyone to try Tile By Vincent and you will not regret to deal with Vincent. We first hired Eden Builders for a remodel about 11 years ago (reviewed on Yelp). Oren was our…read moreproject lead then, and we made sure he was our lead this time around too. This remodel was bigger than the first job. It wasn't easy because there were many funny little issues in addition to the significant problems needing to be fixed. From the start, they made sure to go over every single detail and explain what each choice would mean. We weren't the easiest clients this time around because we changed our minds so many times, but it was never a problem. They were kind and patient throughout, and always had good workarounds for every issue, just like with the project 11 years ago. The job just concluded last week, and the work is top notch. I cannot express how much I hate doing this kind of project, but Oren and Eden Builders made this as tolerable as can be. Hopefully, it's not going to be anytime soon, but the next project will be with Eden Builders too. Thanks Oren and team for another amazing job.

We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Mike applies his experience well with smart changes to the plans that we wouldn't have thought of, and was flexible when we had questions or changes to make. Mike and all of his crews were professional, courteous, and very accommodating (we lived in the house during construction!). Overall we're very happy with Mike as a contractor and with the completed addition!

5 stars so far, and I hope to come back and update this review when our ADU is complete!…read more This review reflects our experience through the signing of our ADU contract. Construction has not started yet, so I cannot speak to the building process or the finished product. But everything we have experienced so far has been so positive that I felt Preferred Home Builders truly deserves five stars at this stage. After an extremely frustrating experience with a different contractor, I feel compelled to share what we learned for anyone embarking on the ADU journey: do not fall for charlatans, empty promises, lousy sketches, or requests for too much money upfront. Take your time, ask questions, and look for a professional who is willing to invest the time and expertise needed to understand your project before asking you to commit. That is exactly what we found in Nir at Preferred Home Builders. From our very first meeting, Nir has been professional, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. Before we signed a contract, and before he even knew whether he would get our business, he invested more than 10 hours of in person meetings with us, in addition to extensive email communication. That level of commitment made a huge impression on us. Our ADU site presents some challenges because of the hilly terrain. Nir took the time to understand those challenges, assess them carefully, and come back to us with thoughtful options rather than making unrealistic promises or glossing over potential complications. Another thing that really impressed us was the level of detail that went into the budgeting process. We completed an extensive questionnaire covering everything from major decisions such as windows and doors to seemingly tiny details, such as how many sconces we wanted by the entrance and whether they should be on the left or right. The result was a remarkably detailed budget that leaves very little, if anything, to be figured out later. After our previous experience, the difference has been night and day. So, at this stage of the process, I cannot recommend Preferred Home Builders highly enough. Nir is clearly at the top of his game, and we are very happy to be working with him. I look forward to coming back to update this review once the ADU is completed, hopefully with another five stars and plenty of pictures to share!

(Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!

Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!
