It is yet to boast a huge gateway similar to China Towns of large cities like London or Manchester, but you are sure to know when you are there. All signs are marked in Chinese characters: a driving school, hairdresser and doctors' surgery... and my new find: Bar Oriental Qi Lin Ke. The bar's interior is basic with plastic tablecloths, dotted with bottles of red, spicy sauce and soy sauce. My friend and I were the only European-looking diners alongside a group of Chinese teenagers and a family. The menu is vast and features dishes that you'd only find in a real Chinese restaurant, i.e. where Chinese people eat: black eggs, fried frogs' legs and duck tongue to name a few. My friend and I were pretty hungry so hedged our bets on dishes that we were sure would satisfy our appetite and fulfill our curiosity: seaweed salad, beef noddle soup, steamed prawn dumplings and a rice ball cooked in a bamboo leaf (all sounded way more adventurous in Spanish). All (well not quite, a doggy bag was requested) were washed down with TsingTao beer. Portions were plentiful and our feast came to just over €20.

Best Chinese restaurant in Sevilla I reckon! - from a native Chinese point of view. If it was…read morearound my office in Shanghai, I'd also be happy to go there for lunch.

Food: We've tried a couple of dishes ranging from super delicious to pretty much run of the mill. Best ones for us was the leche de tigre nikkei ceviche and the iberico niguiri. The ceviche amazed with so many flavours and a delicate freshness and texture and the niguiri ibero just for its classical sushi style and yet unusual meaty taste combined with a yummy sauce. The two, three other dishes were more a matter of taste. Service and bill: Concerning the service the staff was very friendly and funny but a bit inattentive (didn't change plates full of sauce, chop sticks, cutlery). The bill contained the so called "pan y servicio" which is nothing else but a fee for the service. The served bread we gave back. Normally you are not being charged with anything like that eg in Granada or you can take it off the bill but in this case the waiters insisted to leave 2€ for two people "servicio" and explained it by saying that it's common everywhere in Andalucia. That's simply not true!

Really mediocre food. If you are from a cosmopolitan city and know what a good restaurant looks and…read moretastes like, avoid this place. Two out of three dishes that we ordered were inedible.
