Mighty Bright Technologies - Starling Installation

I had Mighty Bright Technologies come out to install my Starlink, and let me just say... I did not…read moreexpect dinner and a show. First off, the technician arrived with the confidence of a man who has definitely said "trust me, I've seen this on YouTube" at least 12 times in his life. He took one look at my roof, squinted like he was calculating the trajectory of a SpaceX launch, and said, "Yeah, we're gonna make this work." That should've been my first clue. At one point, I'm pretty sure he invented a new OSHA violation using only a ladder, sheer determination, and what I can only describe as "vibes." My neighbors stopped what they were doing to watch. I'm fairly certain someone made popcorn. There was a solid 20-minute stretch where he disappeared behind my house, and all I could hear was: * a drill * a loud "huh..." * silence * then, "okay that's not good" * followed by more drilling (confidence restored, apparently) To his credit... somehow... SOMEHOW... I now have internet. Not just internet--fast internet. Like, "why is this loading so quickly, I don't trust it" fast. So yes, against all odds, the mission was a success. Would I recommend Mighty Bright Technologies? If you enjoy: * suspense * light cardio from stress pacing * and witnessing modern-day problem solving in its purest, most chaotic form ...then absolutely. Final thoughts: Came for WiFi. Stayed for the live-action episode of "Extreme Home Networking." Would watch again.

Took it to Walter at Mighty Bright and within 8 hours he retrieved the old OS, diagnosed the problem, and installed new up to date hard drive, and updated from windows 10 to the latest version of windows 11. This guy is on top of his game! Walked in the office door and he immediately started on the repair. The repair price overwhelmed me because i thought it was going to be several hundred dollars and it wasn't. I highly recommend him for repairs if you have problems with your PC. GREAT job Walter and Thank you again

On Feb 6, 2024 I took my computer into the shop for a free diagnosis. I explained the problem and…read morehe immediately said the problem without testing anything....the power supply went bad. He said I had to pay up front since the part has to be ordered. He said he would order it that day, it'll take 2 days to come in and it'll be ready by the following Monday 2/12. I paid $139.10. On the 12th, I checked in and was told the part wasn't there but it should be there the next day. On the 13th I checked back in again and was once again told the part wasn't there and he would call me when it's completed. Of course I'm upset by this information as he's not communicating unless I show up to ask. That's when he blames it on the owner of the business claiming she is the one who orders everything. I was told it would be ordered the previous week and it would take 2 days to come in. He wouldn't give me a refund as the paper I signed to agree for the repair stated no refunds only store credit, which was in small print and he did not verbally say this to me. He said he'll call the owner again to get an update. He did call at 5:18pm and said the part will be in Friday 2/16 and he'll fix it that day. I waited til 4:30pm on 2/16 and finally went up there to check once again. This time he said the part came in and he replaced it but that didn't solve the problem. The only other option is the mother board needed replacing. So I could wait til it was ordered, shipped and came in. So basically I paid for a new power supply that was NOT the issue. I couldn't be refunded for a part that wasn't the problem, and the computer STILL isn't working. Almost 2 weeks at this shop, buying random parts without testing anything, I feel I was completely scammed by this company! My final result was leaving with my computer and the power supply I had purchased that wasn't needed because I didn't want store credit as i'll never support that local business!!!
