After working with some of your typical NYC brokers to find a new place, I got really lucky clicking on a place that seemed too good to be true. My gf and I were looking for a new place in the park slope/gowanus area and found a listing for a place right on 5th St right by the park. Turns out it was freshly listed and was actually supposed to be for 5th Ave. after being slightly heartbroken by that, I let Tarek know what our ideal place was. The ideal was a bit of a stretch for our price range and the neighborhood but it turns out he had one that almost got the bill perfectly (no w/d but you can't have it all). Tarek was great working out times that my gf and I could see the place and was not pushy at all, unlike the other brokers we had worked with at that point. After determining that this apartment really was amazing we submitted the application (50 bucks per applicant) and heard back within 24 hours with the good news. 2 days later we met with the landlord and signed all the paperwork to finalize it all. Citinest was great with any questions we had during the whole process. Great brokers and we would definitely use them again. read more

Although I ultimately did not rent the apartment Eddie showed me, I would absolutely recommend working with CitiNest! The toughest parts of apartment shopping in New York I've found to be (1) lack of transparency of fees and (2) lack of upfront measurements/floor plans of apartments. With CitiNest, the initial communication had the broker fee % stated and a link to a virtual tour allowing room measurements, alleviating both concerns. Because I was looking at apartments remotely, these pieces made the decision to see in person so much easier. Eddie was courteous via email, was flexible with my schedule, and showed me the apartment as soon as I got into town. He was not pushy - crazy rare - and was crystal clear about next steps. I ended up backing out of the application and was worried getting my deposit back would be a headache. I got the deposit back one day after asking! It meant a lot that the professional communication stayed even after I wasn't interested. Huge relief and makes a 5 star review absolutely warranted. read more

Citinest is AMAZING! Although everyone at the office is extremely kind and helpful, I can't express how grateful I am to have met our broker, Jay! As you know, renting in NYC is extremely difficult, even more so if you don't have perfect credit. Still, he managed to find us an amazing apartment in Brooklyn for a great price. Seriously, he turned a very stressful renting experience into the most pleasant I've ever had -- the seemingly impossible into something great! If it weren't for him, I don't think we would have ended up in beautiful Bay Ridge in such a lovely apartment! Both my husband and I are over the moon. We love our apartment and neighborhood SO MUCH! Jay is very honest, supportive, and very hard working. Without a doubt, he takes great care of his clients. I would recommend Jay in a heart beat. read more

I do not usually write Yelp reviews- in fact this may be my first. But after the positive experience I had with Vince from Citinest I wanted to be sure to take a moment to inform anyone that if you work with Vince and Citinest you are in GREAT hands. Moving is very stressful and he was calm, patient, persistent, professional and reliable which is EXACTLY what you need when you are looking at apartments. He went to bat for me for an apartment and went over and beyond over to make it happen. Even when I decided that apartment was not right for me he did not make me feel bad but instead went to work again to find another place for me. All I can say is he is a great guy with true professionalism and drive. I recommend Vince to anyone who doesn't want to mess around as he will get the job done for you! read more

This is my second time using Citinest to rent out a property. Eddie got back to me within 24 hours and the process from photos to the listing becoming live was fast and effective. Eddie was very responsive, communicative and professional. The last candidate from Citinest has been a great tenant for the past 5 years and the new tenants for two units were signed within 1-3 weeks of active listing. The agent assigned was Edison, who was a wonderful person to work with. He is very detailed, friendly and efficient. I look forward in working with them in the future and will definitely refer them to others who are looking to rent out their rentals or finding a place. It was my pleasure to work with you all. Thank you so so much for making this whole process so seamless and stress-free. read more

If you need help finding an apartment in Brooklyn this is the place to go! Make sure to work with agent Michael Stendardi...he really is the best! I had never been to Brooklyn before and he took his time to show me around and tell me all the pros and cons of each of the neighborhoods. He was super responsive by e-mail, texts, and calls. I've worked with other real estate agents in the past and nobody has been better. Michael really cares about his clients and negotiates on their behalf to get the best possible deal. He continued to send me listings and show me apartments until we found the best possible option and he got me a great deal. He's a super cool guy and looking at different places with him felt like hanging out with a friend. Highly recommended! read more

Jay from Citinest Group We live in Singapore and are moving to New York We met Jay back in January when he showed us some properties that were perfect for us but unfortunately our move was delayed to June. We landed 2 days ago to start the search again and because of Jay understanding exactly what property we wanted we contacted him straight away. On my first day here Jay drove me around to view some properties. The second property Jay showed us, we loved. It's now our second day and we have the keys to that property with the lease signed and are ready to move in. We are so happy that we found our perfect home. Thank you Jay for helping us. You have made our move from the other side of the world stress free. Couldn't have done it without you. read more

Jay at Citinest was extremely helpful in finding the best place for us and he did so with such professionalism and speed. I recommend anyone to Jay who is searching for their dream apartment. He responded to our request almost immediately and was there to help with any questions we had. Our situation was difficult to work with, but along with showing us the apartment we were interested in he also went out of his way to show us three other places. We ended up going with the first apartment we saw and since then been living here a couple weeks. We've been loving this apartment and neighborhood ever since! Apartment hunting can be very stressful, but with his help, the experience was overall pleasant and exciting. Highly recommend Jay!!! read more

In our search for a place in Brooklyn, Jay from Citinest showed us several apartments in our price range, but also with different lay outs and styles in different locations. It was so helpful to see a wide range of places as it helped us realise what we both wanted and didn't want. Jay work tirelessly over the weekend to find us the place that would suit us. Then once we picked the place he went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had all the right paperwork in place and could move in at a time that was convenient for us. Would def recommend Jay, Ahmed and the whole team to a friend. They are honest, hard working and listen to what you want and need and work hard to make your wish happen. read more

My wife and I had a chance to work with Michkett from this team and she was absolutely amazing. We originally called her from one of her listings online. After a few minutes of talking she really had a clear understanding of our wants and needs. When it was time to view properties, Michkett showed us the property we originally called about and two other great homes we didn't see online. We put an offer on one of the properties and were eventually approved. Michkett's communication was amazing and kept us informed the entire way. All around great agent and great team. Highly recommended! read more

My husband and I recently worked with Julia in finding an apartment in Brooklyn. Although we did not end up signing a lease for an apartment through Citinest Group, I felt it was important to leave a positive review. We had a great and painless experience working with Julia. She responded promptly to all of our questions and went above and beyond in fulfilling our requests. She continued to be helpful and available to answer our questions even after we worked with her. Will definitely be recommending Citinest and Julia to all of our friends that are looking for a home! read more

Apartment hunting in Brooklyn can be challenging. Especially when you are moving from Connecticut! Most other agents wouldn't even respond to my calls. But Sam G. was different. Professional, respectful and courteous. He listened to my concerns and got answers for me quickly. From showing the apartment to signing the lease to a celebratory post signing coffee, Sam G. made it all a pleasant experience. And when I had a question a week after I moved into my new Park Slope apartment, he got back to me promptly! I would highly recommend Sam G. and CitiNest. read more

I was looking for an apt in Brooklyn, NY and was considering living in Bay Ridge but I wasn't sold. I called Ahmed (Eddie) and he not only showed me some awesome apartments all over the area, he also took me on a tour of the Bay Ridge and the surrounding areas. He really wanted me to be comfortable with the area and showed me his favorite spots. Not a lot of brokers would give you this kind of time. The other people I made appts with would give me the run around or use pressure sales tactics. A completely different experience with Eddie. read more

MIchkett Hendaoui of Citinest Group is a fabulous and conscientious agent. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Of the many people with whom I interacted during the apartment-hunting process in NYC, she stands out. Throughout the process, she maintained on-going, timely, and clear communication. When challenges arose, she was helpful and patient. Overall, she provided excellent, informative, and caring service. You can feel at ease working with Michkett no matter what your housing needs may be in NYC. read more

Had a great experience with Ahmed and Tony (Tarek) from Citi Nest. They showed us the apartment and were able to lower the price a little. Approval process was simple enough and we didn't have to hassle them to get more information. As a real estate professional myself, I've never been on the other side and was wary to all the real estate tricks that that could've been used. They were up front about everything and made the entire process easy. I highly recommend them. read more

I decided to move from Manhattan to Brooklyn and felt a bit lost in the process. Citinest set my mind at ease because they truly worked not just with me but for me. Helped me get around. Found me a pet friendly place. :) Negotiated for me. Now I am very happy with my new neighborhood and apartment. I highly recommend them. They didn't "stalk" me like some other brokers or try talking me into settling for something I wasn't 100% sure of. Very patient and respectful. read more

Worked with Mike from Citynest on a recent apartment search. I've moved in Brooklyn several times. This is the first time that I really saw the value of having a broker and was happy to pay the cost. Mike was incredible - very responsive, kind, knowledgeable, and funny. Most importantly he has a great way of making your case to a landlord and getting a deal done. Very highly recommend Citynest Group and Mike in particular! read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Eddie to find our apartment. He was polite, very quick with communication and provided us all the info we could need to get into our new place. He also met us at our apartment to give us the keys as we signed the lease out of state and we had just driven in with all our stuff and still had to unpack. We really appreciated that. Would work with him again. Thanks Eddie! read more
