I contacted Discount Movers as they were in the same zip code area. Ardeen answered, listened to the situation and said he would be happy to collaborate with us to find a solution, he dropped his truck fee and significantly cut his moving fee to meet our budget. Discount Movers did a great job moving, arrived on time, very courteous and professional. They were an absolute blessing to this veteran and we are lucky to have them in our community. I would highly recommend them for your moving needs.

Discount Movers moved my possessions locally when I purchased another home in October 2024.The…read moremoving process was smooth and the moving crew did an excellent job. My disappointment has been with the owner of the company concerning several damaged pieces. One of the movers placed one of the leaves to my dining room table under the proximity of lift. Another mover lowered the lift without knowing the leaf had been placed there and damaged the leaf. A large wooden tray was damaged and it was also repairable. A chair with a cane back had minor damage. I am thankful I did not allow the chair to leave for repair. I understand in the moving process things happen. The owner took the 2 items for repair. I have called multiple times seeking my 2 damaged pieces. He has not returned them and is not responding to my text or calls. I just want my two pieces back, even if I have to take care of the repair. I have looked for a replacement leaf and unfortunately I have not located one. The leaf came from an antique walnut dining table with very clean lines of which caught my attention. my attraction to the table has not lessened. The tray was a classic wooden try that was the companion to a large unholstered ottoman coffee table. The repair and return issues has reduced what would have been a 5 star to a 3 star rating.

Communication was excellent- from the first estimate appointment to the final move. They accommodated our change in dates due to medical issues and the team that moved us was professional, quick and attentive. We boxed and moved our breakables ourselves, leaving the furniture and other boxes for them to move, and we told the estimator we would do that up front. The final cost was less than estimated, as it was a time and materials estimate. The team was quick and saved us a lot of money. Thank you, Miracle Movers!

Well, no equipment to move a piano was with the movers so now I have a piano stuck on a rental truck with no way of getting it off the truck (which has to be real returned tomorrow morning). They also DON'T tell you up front they won't take a check. I am seriously upset. Apparently they have a lot of office communication issues. I do want to say that the movers, Gerry and Rashea did a great job and I would certainly use their services again as long as they're not associated with Miracle Movers. I have really been left in a bad spot. Zero referrals from me re this moving company.
