There is a large parking lot to the south of the building. The double yellow lines on S. Rice Avenue do not align with entrances of the parking lot, suggesting the city needs to repaint those, as everyone who needs to turn left out of the parking lot does so illegally.

The particular room we always use for church has an attached kitchen with a small room between the kitchen and main area. That's always where the food gets set up when we have church dinners. There's a wall of windows and the opposite wall has some large mirrors on it. There's a short hallway near one entrance where there's a men and women's bathroom. I believe there's also a water fountain, but I'm not 100% positive. It's a great space for events... even though it smells kind of musty. The only thing is that you have to be a resident of Webster to rent a space and the guy you speak to is often hard to reach. Don't bother calling, he won't call you back. You have to email him and even then, be patient. The last part is not really a big deal unless you're the one renting. If you're just attending then it doesn't matter how hard he is to reach.

I don't know if the ac is broken but it is so hot in this office, my glasses were steaming up. Arrived around 250pm and was called up at 3pm. Staff was friendly and provided service in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place over downtown as you have plenty of parking at this location and it's free!

I had a lot of questions and emails to the Harris county tax office were promptly answered. The answers to my questions were pretty generic and didn't really give me the details I was asking for so I decided to make an appointment to go in person as I didn't want to mess up and snail mail the wrong title fees and sales tax. I lucked out and managed to snag an appointment for the very next day (10/12/21) when all the other locations didn't have any availability until at least a week or two out. ***FYI*** they don't take walk-ins for vehicle related stuff. Lady in an email said I could walk-in only to pay the sales tax on my new car but couldn't register. I got to my appt 10 minutes early, there were 2 other people getting served. When one of those people left, I was called up. Handled my business with no hassle I'm about 5 minutes and WALKED OUT WITH TAGS IN HAND! I had read online that tax offices in Texas were taking weeks or even over a month to mail tags! Seriously was blown away by how smooth this transaction was. I had had a fair amount of anxiety about this but it couldn't have gone any better. The best experience I've ever had at a government office!

There aren't a lot of parking spaces in the attached lot. I parked across street in the police department lot. The building is surrounded by a manicured yard. On the side of building, it has a Pelican Path. Just say it's a happy place to pose with people height cement statues. It opens from sunrise to sunset. This made a perfect place for a cultural venue for the summertime. Let the breeze of Clear Lake flown to my face. That experience is never felt in Houston. My only pet peeve is lack of bathrooms. If you really really have to go, Citgo on the other side of 2nd Street should be sufficient.
