The employees at Three Rivers Auto Glass kindly gave us an accurate estimate for replacing the windshield, and we were able to get an appointment soon. We appreciated that an employee mentioned a coupon, so our total out-of-pocket cost was only $100 after insurance and the coupon. My husband mentioned that our camera calibration took a longer-than-expected time because of the cold, snowy weather, but the new windshield looked good. Unfortunately, for months this new windshield was causing a warning light in our vehicle. I was told that the installation of the new windshield had cracked the camera bracket. My husband took the SUV to a BMW dealership, and BMW quoted us up to several thousand dollars to fix the windshield and camera, and we did not want to pay that. I refused to sign the document at which time I was told I had to sign the document, that I had "no choice". I refused to sign the additional document that they had prepared. I simply wanted my cracked windshield replaced. The owner and his wife then jointly acted very unprofessionally by threatening me and repeating that I "had to" sign the document. I again refused and asked them if they were refusing to release my car. The $100 had been paid and the insurance company had covered the rest. I was asked to leave the property and never return. I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately,and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh.
