I bought a lovely bouquet to be delivered to my mother's house and the staff were friendly, helpful, and let me pick the kinds of colours and flowers I wanted in the bouquet. They don't have an enormous variety, but the flowers they do have are always fresh and healthy. Daisy Days also sells a few little gifts like teddy bears, pot plants, and knick-knacks. I know flowers in general aren't cheap, but I have to say that I found the prices here to be a little steep (ooh that rhymes!), but for a one-off splurge it's fine. They have a sign out the front that has always creeped the hell out of me. It's a lady with a sunflower over her mouth. I've always found sunflowers a bit off-putting (I think it's that coarse, brown centre they have) and superimposing one over a woman's smiling face so that it looks like the middle of the flower is her mouth making an :o expression freaks me out. Apart from the devil sunflower woman sign, Daisy Days is always a pleasure to walk past because they change their window displays often (especially for occasions like christmas, easter, valentine's day, mother's day, father's day etc.) and they're always really pretty and original. If you can cope with devil sunflower lady and prices that aren't as low as they could be, Daisy Days is a lovely little shop in which to buy a bouquet for someone special.

After our appointment we waited a week for our quote and they had gotten every single detail of our instructions wrong. When I contacted them to inform them they were wrong, they then called me to ask me what I had already told them in writing. We thought then that the quote was all good and we had nothing more to discuss. The afternoon of the DAY BEFORE my wedding I get a call and my now husband answered and was told our flowers were good to go but wanted to discuss some things with me. When I spoke to them we found that wasn't the case at all. They were calling to find out what flowers we wanted! The day before our wedding! How unprofessional and incompetent is that. When I informed the director that I was busy she kept insisting we go over the flowers again over the phone, so I informed her that we'd been over this 3 or so times and that i would call her back as I was busy she kept on at me so I hung up on her. My father had to go down there and sort things out. So I will not be recommending this place to anybody.

There selection of plants, flowers and arrangements were simple but effective. I particularly liked their succulents growing in a glass bauble you could hang from your tree or anywhere else in your house to make it more festive. The prices at this place were not cheap however. I particularly noticed this in relation to the potted herbs they also had on sale. There are many places in Brisbane where you could get the same for less. The main draw card of Divine Flowers really is their divine floral arrangements and earthy decor available. Just browsing through this shop will make you feel relaxed and happy and they are the perfect place to pick up flowers or gifts that are a little more unique.

Every arrangement I see at Divine is beautifully crafted and presented so it looks like a masterpiece. You can choose something really simple like a gerbera arrangement and they still craft in a way that makes you realise you could never do it yourself. The flowers are really high quality and they make them according to what's in season at the time. The homewares are simple and very lovely, and they utilise their space well to showcase such a gorgeous array of flowers. They also wrap the flowers beautifully and throw in some plant food. I bought one stem to brighten my house and they were so lovely and treated me like I was buying an expensive bouquet. Such a gorgeous shop. Divine offers a great choice for weddings, Valentine's Day, Mothers' Day, anniversaries, whatever you need. Their flowers are absolutely beautiful and they obviously take the utmost care arranging them perfectly. Worth every penny in my opinion. This was my first Pottery Barn shopping experience and I am happy to say it will be the last. My…read morepartner and I visited the store and noticed a dining table for sale with 40% off, on speaking to the shop assistant she stated it was no longer for sale and removed the sale ticket in front of us. However she said if we were to buy it she would honour the sale price but only on this occasion so we had to think fast and not leave the store (nice sales tactic). This obviously created a sense of urgency and we ended up buying the table as it was a great price. Then came the $153.95 shipping fee on top (why not have a Australian supply?). But imagine my disappointment when I discover a few days later the table is on sale online for cheaper than we paid in store! Finding this out I attempted to cancel delivery but it had already shipped and now I was liable for a 20% restocking fee. Long story short, this happened on 9th August, it is now 23rd August. I have left a message for the store manager to call me back but no luck, on 2 occasions American Pottery Barn staff have said they will call me back and no luck. Today I have been told again I will get a call back and not only that a full refund inclusive of shipping and restocking totalling $957...I await to see if after 5 phone calls I can finally forget this shopping experience. p.s - a further 2 phone calls (taking the total up to 7). Store manager still have the decency to call, assistant called and no question about the poor service received just asked for card number. It is free to say sorry, explore why customers have had poor service, reassure and take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again and customers shall return. I'll only be returning if there is a sign saying under new management.
