Just came off of an excellent series of sessions with Jonathan, who helped me select and enroll with a health insurance plan through Covered California (along with dental insurance). I wanted to find an insurance agent who had my best interests at heart and who could offer independent counsel (supposedly, this is available through Covered California, but my interactions with overworked government employees, their compassion fatigue, and their limited interest in actually having detailed conversations with people made me leery of the value of this service). Five stars and 10 points for Jonathan. His guidance on Medicare issues has been timely, useful, and ACTIONABLE and SAVED ME MONEY!! He thoughtfully and effectively help me navigate the morass of often confusing and conflicting Medicare coverage options, including those from "trusted" providers. (That would be you, AARP!) Two examples: in fall 2024, Jonathan recommended that I make a minor change in my Part B supplement coverage that saved me about $40/month and concurrently improved my coverage and provided additional services. Also, his recommendation regarding a change in my Part D/Rx plan literally saved me more than $100/month over the price of the AARP-endorsed RX plan I had been using. Thank you Jonathan!!!
