How do I even start by saying this... I really had a great experience with Marla she took me im early because I had plans. She took me in earlier to make it on time to my important appointment which I appreciate. She listens to you on what you want! I love how tidy it was in here and this time I took a picture of my nails and had to post the review! It's always a vibe coming in here you always feel welcomed. When you go in ask for Marla she'll get your right !!
Shouts out to this place. They were sooo quick which is amazing for those of us who are busy and don't always have time to spend hours at a nail salon. They don't do too much fancy stuff like scrubs or massages (you probably can get it if you pay extra) but I don't mind that. This was $65 and was done in around 45-50 minutes. Amazing job. No damaged cuticles, no pain, no pinching or poor work. And the ladies who work there are so nice. Recommended

My nail artist, Stephanie, was able to get the coffin nail shape and french tip on point. They have an assortment of charms that I could choose from. Overall, great experience and would recommend to anyone in the East Hollywood area.

02/16/2023 - Called citrine la the day of and they were really accommodating to a same day appointment for a semi hard gel manicure with design. I arrived at 5pm and was seated with Monse. I showed Monse the design I wanted and she assured me it was possible. She was VERY attentive to detail and really took her time to clean my nails throughly and overall throughout the whole process. She is very educated in the nail world. When she started on my design she did a stroke with the color I had picked out and told me the color was super runny and she picked one that was a closer match to the picture I showed her. She also painted one of my hands and told me to look at them and to be honest and tell her If I liked it or not and that she would start over If I didn't as I was paying for this after all. I really appreciated all of this as nail salons in LA don't do this. I highly recommend Monse. She is GREAT! My nails came out exactly how I wanted them. Prices: Semi hard gel: $70 Design: $40 Total: $110 Yes it was a little expensive but I did get the semi hard gel. I could have just gone with regular gel to save $. They also have a parking lot in the back which is accesible through Normandie Ave.

Well...I found another mail spot in K-town and it was highly recommended by a friend. Being the picky girl that I am, I am very particular about my nails and feet. I came in for a full set and pedicure. I made an appointment with Barb before hand and arrived 15 mins early. It was not to my knowledge that I only had the option of receiving gel-x instead of my normal acrylic because my nail tech is allergic to acrylic. I was on board for something different so I asked a few questions about the difference and agreed. I first received my pedicure that came with a rose petal bath. (It was a part of the Valentine's Day promo) and got the deluxe package that came with paraffin wax and callous remover. Instead of the acrylic I normally get on my big toe I received the polymer gel and it was cute. I selected the gel-x coffin long nails and had a photo of my design. While I'm the beginning of application her original light she normally uses went out so she had to use another one to eventually use the regular uv light that's used for gel polish. (Not sure if that made a difference but it's what was used) She hooked me up! I loved my set! I paid $220 for everything and tipped as well. Exactly a week later my nails were starting to lift! I followed all protocol on not submerging them in water too long, making my showers brief and even wore gloves when I washed dishes. There was no reason my nails should have been lifting and popping off after a week! I was annoyed but I wrote it off to an experience and I liked them for the time being. But it was frustrating to have them lift after a week and not be offered a complimentary service to fix them. It's a business I understand so I just took the L. Maybe the light wasn't strong enough for the bond, or maybe because the nails are already made they didn't fit to my nail bed, NOT SURE. But it was upsetting because my nails were so cute and I wanted them to last longer. Nice atmosphere nice ambiance, amazing vibes with the music and staff were extremely nice and welcoming Maybe I'll go back and give it another shot if there is someone who can do acrylic because their nail art is on point!
I consider this place too expensive n I was not satisfy with my nails n to pay 330.00 for 2 pedicures n 2 acrylics manicure's. I just don't think my nails look coffin style

Caitlin is the absolute best! The salon has great vibes and she takes such good care of my nails. I always get gel on my natural nails and my last few sets lasted over four weeks with no lifting/breaking at all. The prices are also super reasonable for LA. Can't recommend Caitlin enough! read more

Got my kawaii nails couple weeks ago for my trip to korea! Lovely ladies, good price, and most importantly my nails going strong even after crazy two week trips from korea! I did not catch my nail techs name but she was the owner. Very clean and friendly place. I got a full gelx set and gel pedicure. My nail tech was very gentle and made sure I was okay with my nails before proceeding to the next steps. All in all the service was great and so are my nails! The pedicure included callus removal, a sugar scrub, and a hot towel at the end. Fairly inexpensive too, but the quality is still there. Very pleased! read more

Just wanted to leave a review for this cute little nail shop I went to today. It was my first time and Marla the girl that did my nails was so nice I was in and out in no time with no appointment and didn't feel rushed whatsoever she left my nails so cute I'm in love especially with the color that she helped me pick definitely was the best choice! I just moved to this neighborhood and I'm so glad I found a nail shop two blocks away. It looks small from outside but it's spacious inside and also super clean which is a plus. So so so happy I stumbled across Citrine LA and all of the wonderful ladies there! I'm from out of town and needed to fill some time, I noticed Citrine had better reviews than most and was a two minute walk away. Monse took care of me like we've been lifelong friends and her attention to quality and details was so impressive. Everyone was so friendly. And my nails are 10/10.
